As pissed as I am, the bottom line, imo, is that the Gophs were able to establish the offensive zone much much easier than the Sioux. The Gophs deserved to win although it was a close battle. The Sioux can play much better and my hunch is that they will and will win a week from now.

It would be nice if the the WCHA schools that qualify for the NCAA tourney would be in different brackets so that we can get as many of them to the F4. I have a hard time believing that only 3 WCHA will most likely qualify. After Maine has tanked at the end of the year I am surprised they are still in contention.

My wife and I and are 2 kids will be there - thinking of going to the UND alumni gathering unless anyone has any other recommendations.

What surprised me the most is that we were the highest scoring team in the WCHA. Time for a playoff run that ends with #8 in SL. Go Sioux!!!

And that is why I have no respect for the Gopher program - whether it is the 3rd place game in the Final 5 or last game of the season with little on the line, they don't have enough pride to come out and play the game.
