My wife and I will be hitting BD's on Friday for lunch. I went to the one in Columbus back in 2005 and it was great!

Nice cruising altitude of 40,000 feet....

I would guess that the group I am with will venture down to sing sing for a few beer beers.....

Any word on where the Sioux will be staying while in Denver?

Here is what I would like to see - Oshie get the "A" back on his jersey for the final stretch run. IMO he deserves it in his work ethic, character, desire and his giving 110% all of the time he is on the ice.

My greatest memory of the weekend was the CLASSY Gopher fan that between periods, bought my 2 kids their own WCHA Frozen Five hockey puck. That made my kids weekend...

If the Sioux play in the Championship, which I am hopeful they will, we will there drinking some bloody mary's and meeting some great UND fans.

The Gophers have one of the top programs in the country and and one of the top competitors of UND. With that being said, that is most likely why I "dislike" the Gophers as in order for the Sioux to beat them, we are going to have to play at the top of our game to have a chance to get the W. When an event such as what happened to Pohl occurs, it makes you realize what is really important in life. At such times, I feel that the lines that divide programs and fans really is diminished as we all love the game of college hockey and the "beefs" I have with Gopher fans really is nothing more than trivial rivalry. What happened with Bina is in the past and has no bearing on what THIS Sioux fan thinks or feels as it relates to Pohl. I wish to his family, friends and supporters all of the best at this critical time.

You are correct, I should have known better as Saturday was a blur for me...tequila....need I say more.

OT game on Saturday night was when the Mavs were called for too many men on the ice....weak call considering the other stuff going on in OT. Mavs proceeded to take the puck down the ice and score. Heck of a great hockey series!

I have been to the Final 5 before but never have stayed in St. Paul. Where are some good places to hit during the non-hockey times? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't get the changes that are being made at this time of the year. Kozek on the 3rd, no Radke, Marto at forward...This is the time of year to rely on the consistency that you have generated during the year. Perhaps the injuries that have hit the Sioux is causing some of this but I don't believe in changing things up this late in the year. That being said, I trust in Hak and I would guess that he knows a little bit more than I do. Go Sioux - light it up in the 2nd.

IMO you give a desperate team like Tech an opportunity and anything can happen. The Sioux better show up with their "A" game or we may have a weekend off.

In my opinion, let them play hockey ...pretty weak call imo. That being said, that was not what cost the Sioux the game. My biggest fear is this team needs to learn to put a game away when they have a lead.
