  1. Hmmm... I see that they were saved correctly. A few other people have also submitted picks, I assume you guys can see them after you submit them?
  2. Ok, I think I have the bracket working with the new forum login. It's a little different than in the past, it should just recognize you if you're logged in, but you still have to hit save / load buttons. http://siouxsports.com/hockey/bracket.php Who will join the illustrious list below? One of these years, UND will win and we'll have a 40-way tie. 2015 WiSioux 2014 johndahl 2013 FSSD/Brainerd Sioux 2012 mj3und 2011 tho0505 2009 Big A HG 2008 willtippen 2007 seanpc03 2006 teamsioux 2005 mynameiscuomo 2004 paul62/BigGreyAnt41/brew003/UP2SKI Let me know of a
  3. That's why I asked... I wondered if content count was getting confused with all time reputation?
  4. Making sure I understand... on the "main page", you're looking at the "most popular contributors"?
  5. Here's a sneak preview of what I think are the remaining PWR possibilities. I'll do some more quality control, then start digging into the interesting scenarios tomorrow. Looks like a very straightforward year, though--most top teams are in, then a small bubble that dukes it out among themselves, then low team that could auto-qualify. http://test.collegehockeyranked.com/forecast/pwrtournament.php
  6. Not that I can tell... I'll look into it and see if anyone has had any problems, and/or if there's a "recount" feature (which there often is for those stats).
  7. I've personally never seen the appeal of calculating what the brackets would be if the season ended today, when teams are guaranteed to change bands and change it completely... BUT plenty of other people say the same thing about looking at the PWR at all.
  8. Though they're not quite yet a mathematical lock, I'll make the call for Denver... College Hockey Ranked - One more team you should expect to see in the NCAA tournament
  9. It's concept art. You do it for practice, to develop a portfolio, and to get your work seen. https://www.behance.net/danestorrusten My prior was against transitional logos that incorporate the feathers, but this one does feel well done to me. Good job.
  10. It only takes $3 to buy a bag of Cheetos. Why risk a felony when a misdemeanor will do.
  11. The crazy thing is that I put in place new tests that pretty much confirm it's actual humans bothering to do the initial registration (though probably not the mass postings). That they still find it worth it, given how ridiculously low the return on that spam must be, proves how cheap labor is.
  12. I've had new registrations opened back up for quite a few weeks now, so we're not under constant attack. So, I'm going to leave things open for a while and see how it goes.
  13. And some non-UND info, looking at #10 Yale through #23 Minnesota-Duluth, all fighting for spots on the bubble. http://collegehockeyranked.com/2016/02/18/with-two-weeks-until-conference-tournaments-begin-teams-on-the-bubble-need-to-get-hot/
  14. Well, a pair of losses didn't wrap anything up for UND. Looks like we still need some wins to lock up a bid. A few top teams are starting to look like locks for NCAA tournament

  17. Nah, you're thinking of GPL, we've never restricted new registrations. But don't worry, we're on this one.
  18. Don't forget to use the "report" feature to bring problems to the mods' attention more quickly!
  19. So many years I've had to start a thread about the PWR in January to let people know it's still possible for UND to climb out of its hole and get an at-large bid. How different this year is! What prompted me to finally start one is that this weekend brings the first real chance of Quinnipiac falling out of #1, and UND controls whether it is #3 UND or #2 SCSU that overtakes QU if the Bobcats stumble. Here's a more detailed post I wrote: http://collegehockeyranked.com/2016/02/12/north-dakota-eyeing-taking-1-from-quinnipiac-but-dont-count-out-st-cloud/
  20. Yeah, just reply here with the name you want or PM me.
  21. They seem to still know this isn't perfect on mobile devices: https://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/active-reports/4152-quote-removal-on-mobiletablet-not-working-r9610/ Meanwhile, you can work around it by hitting the "source" button in the upper left to switch away from WYSIWYG mode, delete all the HTML for the quote, then click "source" again to switch back to WYSIWYG mode.
  22. It's a little confusing, but the behavior differs based on what screen you're on: If you're on the front forum screen (that lists hockey, football, etc...), then clicking on the title of a thread will take you to the last read post in the thread. If you're in one of the forums, so you see a list of threads, you instead have to click the little dot or star to the left of the thread (but if there are no new posts in that thread, the star or dot won't appear). If you think it might not actually be remembering what you've read, a way to test that is clicking "unread cont
  23. Ok, I found it. Known bug, will be fixed in next version. Sorry about that. https://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/active-reports/417-public-poll-does-not-show-voter-name-r10042/
  24. It's actually slowed down a lot... the first day (when we were unaware) something like 10 came through. Since then we've had 2 make it through, but one was at like 2am CT so it took a few hours to catch. I try to strike a balance between making it accessible/friendly to new users, while keeping the machines out. Here's what I've done so far: New registrations require the industry-standard reCAPTCHA (identifying photos) to prove you're human New registrations require a valid email address (confirmed) New registrations require answering a custom question uniq
