I hear what you are saying, but then they need to clarify that in the rule book. And essentially if you are skating towards the net if you are shooting at it, aren't your skates always moving towards the goal line. Unless they mean that you have to completely stop before shooting the puck?

it is fine, I do appreciate. That is what I love about our state is when two itelligent people can have a nice conversation even if they disagree. I just try to treat others the way that I would like to be treated...no high IQ about it. Thanks for the compliments, though. Either way, if NDSU players wanted to get rings for that, good for them...it is none of my business and either way BOTH teams do great things for our state and both teams are good in their own way.

Potts resigned after many disagreements with President Chapman of NDSU, which were publicized at the time. Anybody paying attention would say that it wasn't that sudden as their disagreements started long before the month that he resigned. So, nope...I don't think that it had anything to do with his position on nicknames. As chancellor, I also don't think that he would have gotten a vote if the State Board voted on the nickname at the time that he was chancellor.

i don't believe he is, i can try and find the article that talks about it. edit: It was in Marilyn Hagerty's column about Linda Lamoureux...... it says, "Pierre Paul is finished with hockey and going to the Unversity of Wisconsin at Superior."
-
I don't know if PJ did, but Pierre-Paul did. He played with Tri-City this past year and will be going to college in Wisconsin this next year.

Todd Bertuzzi not Todd Bertuzzing and that player was Steve Moore. It maybe wasn't bush league, but it was still classless. It is also your opinion, which may or may not be the same as someone else's and we are entitled to our own opinion. It was not considered a penalty at the time yes, but that still doesn't make it right as the league clarified.

Any word if anyone has decided to leave?

Fine, you never said that I personally was wrong. I will lighten up. However, I will state that I do take offense to people telling me that they are a bigger Sioux fan than me. I agree that you are probably just as big of a Sioux fan as I am, but bigger? that would be for people who know both of us personally to decide. And if I was going to treat you like Geoff Paukovich, I would knee you in the balls, but you haven't done anything to deserve that, so I will only have disagreements with you. I do not think that every player to put on a Sioux Jersey is going to be the next Wayne Gretzky. I realize that every player is different and that they will do what they can. I also realize that team general managers and coaches in the NHL know way more than I do over whether or not a player is ready, so if they think that Andrew should stay another year or if they think he should sign I trust them. I also trust Hak and that he would recruit the best player for the Sioux to play for us. -
thanks, but I would be female. Thanks for the compliment though.

it can be arranged that you can leave. If you want to be liked, then don't piss people off. By saying that Kozek won't go anywhere is not helping your case. The posters on this board may change, but the rules haven't. The rules are be nice and state your opinion in a respectful way. I don't care if you disagree with me, but do not tell me that I am wrong just because I don't agree with you. Andrew will do fine no matter what he does and he is a great player and person. -
Miller Commercial here you go

um, a defensemen can worry about defending and an forward should be thinking about scoring since that is what they do! I get that you have to think about both, but a defenseman worries more about defending than scoring and a forward worries more about scoring than defending. -
no intent to be arrogant, but as bball has been over since the beginning of March and football has been over since November and hockey season has been over for 1 1/2 weeks....that sorta makes sense. That being said, I would personally love to see the rivalary started again not because either team needs it more than the other one. I want it back because it was a great rivalary and it was a great thing for our state. Good Luck to NDSU in the playoffs this year...you will make our state proud. But WHEN the two play each other again, sorry but I am going with my boys in the Kelly Green.

which is derogatory in itself both to midgets who can not help that they are short and to people of slower learning who can not help the fact that they learn slower than others or in other words have a slower mental capacity than others. I can see from your replies to others that there is no arguing with you in a way where everyone respectfully disagrees, so I agree with Sioux-Cia.....ignoring now.

Oh, and since I am avoiding stuff that I have to do: Predators are up 2-0 almost end of the 1st, Red Wings lead the series 2-1. Flames play tomorrow at 9pm ct, series tied at 2. And the Stars play at 7pm ct tomorrow and they lead the series 2-1
-
Devils Lose 5-3. ZPar with 2 assists and Travis with a high sticking double minor. Rangers lead the series 3-1 and the Penguins sweep the Sens!

Um, yeah. Our toliet didn't work from the time we got there in the first room. They attempted to fix it and overflowed it and then used our towels to mop it up and were shocked when we asked for more! The maid left a note after it stopped working again that read "DON'T FLUSH DON'T WORK". Nothing else was said until it overflowed again and they sent up maintenance who informed us that we would have to switch rooms We did get a discount for having to move, but I mean c'mon!

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was looking over and seeing a ND fan "bowing" to the Sioux fans! I loved cheering for them and hope that they had as much fun as I did at the championship game!
-
i would be there if i could, but unfortunatly I will have commitments that I can't get out of at the time! SAD! I know. though after the last two, they might not want me there again!

Well, it has been almost 4 days since we lost, and all I have to say is THANKS BOYS for yet another great season. My family still can not believe what a huge hockey fan that I am even after 4 years at UND. First, Thanks to the seniors. JPL - You may annoy me to no end some games and make some of my friends mad, but you are one of my favorite goalies and I will never forget all the things that you did for us. I hope your brother passed along the message of thanks for a great season to you. Both on and off the ice, you have showed great character, so screw the Hobey committee. You are the Hobey winner in my book. Kyle - Ah, what can I say! You may make me mad, but I still love watching you play. You remind me a lot of Mike Prpich and I will never forget your "what did I do" smile as you skated towards the penalty box time after time. I don't think that Vossberg will forget you too soon either. You are a fighter through and through and a great player. Kaiper - Ah, again one player I will not soon forget. I watched you from being a freshman at the same time as me and getting pcs to being a senior and leading this team with silent and steady leadership. You knew just what to do to provide the team with a spark and are forever my Kaptain Kaiper. Bina - I will always have a soft spot for you. I watched you never give up after 2005 and you gave hockey fans great hope. You said that you got chills when you heard the standing ovation in October 2007 when you stepped out onto the ice, well I got chills that night because I never thought that I would see it again. From scoring from 170+ feet to making a simple hit, you made us proud. You are Superman to me and I will not forget the hope and faith that you had. Ah, anyone else who leaves will get a thank you then.

well, let's go with she get herself in awkward situations that are quite funny if you aren't her!

I understand what you are saying, but the ad doesn't run the hockey program, the hockey program runs the hockey program. If I had to choose between a guy who knew about hockey and nothing about running an athletic department and a guy who knows next to nothing about hockey and many things on running an athletic department.....the guy who can run an athletic department wins. Hockey is big at UND, but we need someone who can run with all programs and not just one.

I remember that until I happen to see some deer or geese or some nice fields or a nice car and then I wind up distracting myself and winding up on the shoulder for a couple of seconds. Which for the record, I have only gone in the ditch twice in 8 years and those were both because of ice on the road or black ice on the shoulder of the road.
-
Hey, I could drive....no guarantee that the car would be on the road and not the shoulder, but I could drive!
-
don't worry, I am getting some treats together for the ride. Just gotta shop first. Ya think I would forget my stomach?

less than 3 and a half days until we leave and like 4 days until the game (I have never been good at that whole time change thing)
