  1. I believe so. If they didn't have their sioux crew card with them, they had to go to the back of the line. I think that is what I heard Max say anyway.
  2. haha, I did too. Plus, it was great when we met Cory Schiender at a Moose came and he said that he wished he could apologize for sending us home early, we told him that we stayed to watch him lose!
  3. yeah, he played a regular season game this year, i don't remember if he started or not, but he really did play! edit: according to Gopher statistics for this year, he played for 59:23 seconds in one game. Before this year, only in exhibition.
  4. i will be right next to you! hehe, i think you knew that though!
  5. AWWWWW! I love it! This is one of the reasons why I love Fighting Sioux sports and our athletes. They may tell media that they have some of the best fans, but that is only because we have players like Phil who make it incredibly easy to cheer for them. SCREW the Hobey committee. PHil is Hobey Baker in my book.
  6. I got my Thank You Seniors sign that WiSioux, Sioux_Yeah_Yeah, and I made, but what else can I make. I was thinking about making something with Phil and not making the hobey hat trick but wasn't sure how to word it.
  7. I go with my key to yesterday's game again today....hit them hard and early.....and where it counts........on the scoreboard. We need to play hard, but not stupid. Stay out of the box and get on the board early and often. LET'T GO SIOUX!
  8. No, it was just one of the main causes of it because no one could agree. and African-Americans at that time did count as humans or at least 2/3's of a person. And if we are going off ceredentials, I will be qualified to teach history in about a year.
  9. Let's Get Something Going on the PowerPlay!
  10. 58201 to 58209 any number between those.
  11. you could try ESPN 360.
  12. Let's Go Boys, hit them hard and early!
  13. LET'S GO SIOUX! btw, LERS GO SIOUX? isn't it a little bit early to start drinking? the game hasn't started yet! j/k
  14. i know that it is if you are on a campus network, but i don't know how to get it free if you aren't
  15. i actually did ok, UNH was the only one that I got wrong. and that only screwed it up a little bit. 2nd place
  16. i finally remembered that I can get ESPN360! Got it going now!
  17. only if we dressed him in a prpich jersey!
  18. but not all of them will, if the party was in November than they hadn't been on campus that long and some of them aren't coming from North Dakota and Minnesota where the nickname is a huge debate. Like I said, not that it excuses them, but ignornance definitely could have been a factor here. And the person who found the pictures was a student, so she wasn't off making a living if the pictures were online before now.
  19. my point was that the freshman is going to want to know why and you can't explain the nickname issue in one night especially when you are drinking.
  20. bars? probably most of them. restaurants? BWW and Ground Round are the ones that come to mind.
  21. except, the fraternites aren't on campus, they lease their property. And as long as you are a student at the University, you answer to the Code of Conduct also known as the Code of Life. Unfortunately, the pictures were taken off facebook and copyright does not really count there. That is the risk you take putting pictures up there is that anyone can rightclick and hit save picture.
  22. Thanks for the link, he sounds like a real down to earth guy and I hope his recovery is 100%.
  23. May I point out that we are assuming that these students were ones that have been at UND for awhile. Some of them could have been freshman who having come from a long way away or transfer students who would not know what we all know about the nickname issue? If that makes sense. Not that ignorance excuses them, but if you were a senior at that party, how would you explain in a quick nutshell about the entire issue? People don't always come to UND knowing about the nickname issue and we can't expect them to not do things like this just because they attend UND.
  24. you are right that they may not have intended to hurt anyone. BUT THINGS STILL CAN. Sorority, not soroity girls are not dumb and they are not kids. They are young adults who intended to hurt or not should have thought about this and realized that things could go badly especially on the campus of UND. That being said, hindsight is 20/20 and they may not have thought that even if they did think about it. From what I have heard, it was billed as a cowboy-themed party, which is why it could have been approved. And if it was that, then people who were dressed inappropriately should have been sent home. Yes, we all played cowboys and indians when we are little, but we are not 10 anymore and it is time to act like it.
  25. Got back from the Final Five: Other than us playing crappy on Friday, good time. Got to sit next to some really nice Gopher fans, BTW.....if you are a gopher fan who sat in section 111, near the top.....thanks, you made my experience good. I had some really nice conversations with them. Got to meet Nick Mattson on Friday night. I was sitting in my seat and happened to look four rows down as three teenagers were sitting down. I thought, Hey I recognize the middle one. I figured it out and went down and was like my friends and I are having a debate over who you are and I say that you are nick mattson. He said that is because I am. I said hi and that we were excited for him to come. Yeah, that is my story. It was kind of weird, especially when I randomly saw him walking around the arena the next night too.
