it has been fuller than that in past years. Well, no I don't believe it should have been packed.....we can turn out in better forces than that. Manitoba or not, you can support your team and you can not tell me that you are doing anything else on a Sunday night...that early.

just to point out the Wacipi Pow Wow is held every Spring on campus and is a HIGHLY publicized event. I have never gotten to attend due to my schedule on those days, but I have heard that it is a great event to attend. And in case you don't read anything on it, they normally set up a teepee outside of the Union for UNDIA Timeout Week, which is that week.

Got back from the women's game a little bit ago. The crowd looked better than last year, but that was probably due to it being in the Olympic Rink and not the main rink. The girls played well, and got the 2-1 win. The Bisons didn't score untill 29 seconds left in the game! We looked like we were really fast this year. They had a "practice" shoot-out at the end, which we lost. It was nice to see though.

technically, we are on our third Lamoureux player and it is still hard to spell?

the settlement states that in three years, if the tribes won't give us a yes answer....we change the name which would mean we wouldn't be on the list after that.

just to point out, that probably wouldn't happen because Greene had a very specific reason for retailiating in the Bina hit. Bina and Greene were roommates/best friends. Greene wanted to retaliate when it happened but he didn't dare in that game or the national championship game because too much was at mistake. Paukovitch knew it was coming because Greene had told him that the day would come. It was Greene's way of saying that you don't mess with his friends. I get your point, but the likely hood of it is very low even hypothetically.

Sitting in school near Minot for my freshman year. I had a sub second hour so she wouldn't let us watch the news even though the kids from the air base were freaking out. Got to watch the news for the next period and nobody could really believe it the entire day.

i think they were just playing around, but it was not so good. Mostly the defense was...Goehring was the goalie for the green team. Fitzpatrick is the guy from the Manitoba Moose that I got outbid for his jersey! I hadn't gotten to see him play before this because he was hurt when I went up to Winnipeg to see that game. Bina did look a little lost, but I took it for being his first camp where as most of the other players had already been through a few camps.
