Um, what would you like to know? The jersey auction was fun, as expected the former Sioux players jersey went for a lot.....I got outbid for a Manitoba Moose guy's jersey that I am pretty sure I was the only one there who knew who the heck he was. They did some drills and then scrimmaged for 40 minutes (two periods). The black team beat the green team by a score of 6-4, i believe. Matt Greene had a hat trick for the black team. For the auction, it was the jerseys that they were wearing so the player would take it off and sign it and give it to the person and then every other player would sign it. that was about it. Random thought.......Greener is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!! at least compared to me, i really don't remember him being that big!

saw Trupp this morning, did not look any heavier than last year. that is all that I can report.

if I remember correctly, didn't Trupp lose a bunch of weight the spring before coming here? .....he might not have put it back on before they weighed last year, and he went up right after?

Depending on what corner it is, you can't hear. I sit on the opposite end of the student section than the band most games and sometimes I can barely hear them let alone three or four students trying to get a cheer going. We did have a good student section, but it took awhile to fill up and i have seen it a little more packed.....or maybe that was cause we were all trying to pack into the first four rows!

It was a good game, last night. We started slow and got better as the game went on. I started out the game worried about the offense without Weston and Ryan, but they were actually really good. The defense worries me as there were times last night when I thought that Drake Otto was the only one out there. I think that we will get better, but there were times last night when we were saved by false starts and their recievers dropping the ball. And it is nice to see the freshmen out there and making an impact.

no, i wouldn't. I would calm down and then try to calmly explain to my neighbor that I did not appreciate it and ask him to stop. If that did not work, I would let him know that if it happened again, I would call the authorities because that is public urination and something they deal with. I understand your point of view, but I stick with my previous thoughts on this.

I agree with you that it can get out of hand, but we also have a lot of Sioux fans who repeatedly say things back to them degrading NDSU and the Bison. Why can we not be the better people and just not respond. The old saying from when we were kids still applies, people only say things to get a reaction, if you don't react then it is not as much fun to do it. I agree that things should get reported, but then to some extent ignore it. Let us try to be the bigger people and show any vistors to our website that we can be good fans. Sorry, my little rant. All better now.

I agree that if you can die for your country than you should be able to have a beer with your buddies before it. As for lowering it, it might be good to talk to other countries with it that low and figure out why it is working there and see if we could do it. PS: Speaking from experience growing up in a border state, you go to Canada as soon as you are old enough anyway or you know the cops that will pick you up.

I believe we played Kansas here only because Roy Williams offered his seniors one game close to home and Jeff Boschee had the choice of UND or Minnesota. He choose UND. So, I would say no unless you know of any Kansas boys would have played there, playing for us or any ND boys playing for them.

Captains usually aren't announced until right before the season starts. I don't have the e-mail about Kaip anymore, but i would venture a guess as to say we won't hear until about a week before the season starts. *sorry, i can't type or spell! here or hear? same thing!

SIOUX, you want respect on a SIOUX message board than spell our name right. To do anything else is childish, as is telling someone to go and lay by their dish. You don't like what someone is writing, you have the choice to ignore them....it is a free country. You are a good person, I am sure as are most Sioux fans and most Bison fans. Why not be one of the good ones and not one of the ones that everyone is ashamed of having in their sports family.

WOW! UM has been playing hockey for 20 years longer than the Sioux and they still have only 3 MORE of all those things than us.......Something to be proud of! It is a rivalry, it is fun and we can give each other crap, let's not ruin it. Each team has had its dry spells and each team has had their great spells. What is fun is making fun of each other during those times.
