Just think if you had a family member that was being recruited by und and a few other schools. Wouldn't und drop to the bottom of your list if you knew the coach publicly called players names? How about if your employer/boss publicly called employees names? It would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

If you have a push button start, more than likely your vehicle will shut off when you open your door requiring a restart. Just even more of a waste of gas.

So the players don't respect the coach. So the coach disrespects the players. This is moving the team into what direction? I won't be surprised if they lose out.

Does anyone know how that would work? Is midco asking for money to be picked up on a sports tier? Or would they need to pay to make that happen?

If you lived outside of the root area at least youd have the choice to go with a dish system though. Fans outside of midco's footprint have an option of online only.

This is only homes though. What about sports bars? Most have dish service only. And if we are talking homes, one can easily drop cable and switch to a dish service if that means they can follow their favorite team.

I'm sure it's written in some legal contract somewhere. The reality of it is, any game root decides to air of Denver can be seen nationwide. Same can't be said of the und games because fcs is technically a national channel. So is root but it's technically a regional channel that is available nationally?

Still curious how they consider fcs channels national they are actually less available for those that really would like to get them than the actual rsn's. Anyone can sign up for a dish subscription and get all rsn's anywhere in the country. Only those that have access to cable can get the fcs channels.

So why would the CBS deal apply to cable company channels and not dish channels? It's as if the CBS deal was written specifically to block the und games from being viewed nationally. As if und was targeted.

Yes but they are available nationally. It's not going to happen....but if und hockey was picked up by fs north this would be ok with the CBS deal. But und hockey can't be on fcs. Just because of the "regional" title?

I understand what you are saying but out of all sports networks you are listing midco sn is the only channel that is really only available regionally. If midco got a deal with directv and or dish to be offered in their sports packs, their channel would then be available nationally. Just saying if you live in nd and want to receive root sports, it is available to you. Just as available as fcs channels are if you want to receive them. On top of that I think it's safe to say that fox sports north(or any of the rsn's for that matter) has higher ratings than any of the fcs channels. Why are the supposed regional channels more watched than the supposed national channels?

I see what you are saying and don't disagree with you on the subject 82, but it's tough to compare grand forks to Minneapolis or St. Paul for sporting event parking. This is grand forks! Very few places in town or in our area is space limited and parking space scarce. Go into a big city and it's a different story. That's expected. But in grand forks?

Directv, dish network, or cable. 3 options available nationally. Actually more people nationwide have the option to choose a dish system than they do cable. If you have cable and pay extra you can get fcs channels. If you have a dish system and pay extra you can get all rsn's. Either way fox sports north and fcs is available nationally. Still not understanding why fcs is considered national and fox sports north is considered a regional channel (other than fsn's pro sporting events which would be blacked out outside of their region) remember their college sports are available nationwide.

Fox sports north is available nationally with either dish system though. If you want to get the channel you can get it. Pro sports blacked out but any programming or college sports is available to anyone in the country that wants it.

How are the fcs channels not considered regional anyways? Maybe it's been said before but they are each tagged with regional names. They are no more national the fox sports north for the viewer technically.

Most companies that lease vehicles (that I'm familiar with at least) go for an unlimited mileage lease. Never leased a bus but they may track them with an hour meter since they probably put on as many hours as miles?

Simple theory supply and demand. Demand may have hit an all time high but I wouldn't be shocked to see it dwindle some. No minny or wisco on the schedule, no gwoz, less exposure with current tv deal, new no re-entry smoking rule, less parking options, ticket prices as high as ever.....am I missing something?

The loss against sac state should have been expected and expected with the point difference based on this teams track record this year. Since muss wasn't fired prior to this game I wasn't expecting him to be immediately after this game. I'd expect him to be let go immediately after the season.

I feel for those that are without services that have been available in the past....and parking isn't the only service. But this is a corporate world now and it's all about the $.

Is it bus or or multiple busses though? And if multiple how many? And who paid for the gas? If it's $800 per night for one bus I'd think that is a little high either way. Especially considering the conflict of interest from one government entity to another. Either way the burden shouldn't be on the taxpayer for this service.

Even if there is....should this be funded by und? Or should the Ralph be running it? Tough to say without knowing who is being paid what.
