So und could schedule the Canadian team?

Could the NCAA say no to this game though due to playing against pretty much a Canadian junior all star team? Isn't the us team generally stocked with a few Canadian junior athletes as well?

Us world junior team is able to have exhibitions vs NCAA teams. Wouldn't it be nice to see und have an exhibition vs the Canadian team? Would USA hockey frown on this?

I was confused because I'm not familiar with many of the rules in college hockey. I didn't know you couldn't obstruct a goalies view while in the crease. I know you can't physically obstruct him to create a goal. Reallistically though, as paid professionals they should be more familiar with the rule book.

I don't know that much myself. If you were to ask me I think they met with the right fbs teams at the right time so luck had a little to do with it. But it wasn't all luck. In those games, they were simply the better team. And you ask how many of the bowl games they would win? I'd say very few if any. Fcs is still a level below the top fbs/bcs teams and that has never been proven wrong. Just look at what a team like Wyoming can do for bohl compared to what ndsu could do for him.

Ndsu has done pretty well with those fbs games. Subtract those fbs games they've had and no way they are where they are today with fan excitement.

I will say hammer does a better job at hockey play by play than Jamal.....for those that saw the nd state tournament this last season.

No clue. It's not so much the time that isn't accurate......it's more of actually being up when it should.....and many times it doesn't identify the correct time on a 5 on 3 or different special teams matchups. Guess I shouldn't have said rarely because I've only watched a few games this year....but have noticed they can't get it right in nearly every game I've seen.

Video quality on midco cable is good if you can get it. And they have a penalty clock.....which is rarely accurate or even up when it should be. Just sayin!

Was in extreme northern nd today. All I could get on the radio was some odd Canadian stn. There was an interesting interview with a gm of a junior hockey league in northern Ontario. Due to one side of their fan base being pro-fighting and the other side being anti-fighting, they are pre-scheduling fights prior to the start of the game. This way fans that don't wish to see fights can leave to not view them. And he claims fans buy tickets to only watch the eight minutes of fights every game. I personally believe fighting is part of the game but I don't endorse preset fights like this. It's like this league is attempting to change the game.....just as eliminating fighting would change the game. Sorry I don't have a link.

Uneducated people in Fargo following hammer!!! Say it ain't so!!!

Hammer's tweet was the first time I heard anyone say anything about Fargo outbidding the Ralph. Sounds like he hangs out with too many of the "uneducated" himself.

What are the chances this ends up getting moved to the Ralph because of the demand for these tickets if und makes the tournament? If this stays in Fargo with only 5000 seats available, buying a chunk of tickets would be a good roi buy.

Because this was over a $4 cab fare. Personally I won't judge him over this because we don't know the whole story. No excuse made. It is what it is. Obviously hakstol sees a trend here though hence the suspension. Don't disagree as I trust how he runs his team. If I was a bison fan I can't say I could say the same.

Undefendable? There is two sides to every story and as an outsider looking in at this one situation.....it's more feasible that there was a miscommunication of some sort. It doesn't make sense that Bryn would attempt to skip out on a $4 cab fare. Like a few other have said though ill trust haks judgement on the suspension. The continued lack of judgement is troubling. And this is being handled nowhere near how it would be this happened to a ndsu football player.
