Rumor has it that is what midco has done with the small affiliates in nd....based on their original asking price and what they are asking of them now. Not a rumor though!

The cost of parking/shuttle for und hockey shouldn't be on the state taxpayer. This should be paid by the end user/the Ralph/und. After understanding their past setup, I think they made the right decision.

Fs north and fs Detroit may be considered regional networks. But they are available on tv nationwide with a simple and inexpensive sports pack upgrade. Midco sn may also be considered a regional network but is available only in limited homes in one of the most sparsely populated area of the us. Nowhere close to the same regional category.

Any clue if their schedule was finished prior to the contract being agreed to by th nchc? If CBS was after ratings, why wouldn't they choose und to be on their channel every Friday?

I wish I could get Internet at home! Wife has unlimited 3G(which you can't stream with) and I have 4g lte which I pay through my teeth for.

There's some preferential treatment though. Look at the number of CBS sn games they get.

Remember that pro athletes/teams/leagues make their money is because of the entertainment factor. If they didn't provide entertainment, they'd be out of business.

If they went to 4 on 4 ot's they should also follow the NHL for weight of an overtime win/loss. This should be used the same way across the board for NCAA teams, even though it's not through a point system.

4 on 4 would be fun to watch first. Why not just follow the nhl?

3 points for a win prior to shootout. 2 points for a shootout win. 1 point for a shootout loss. Non conference games the so is just an exhibition so those end in a tie.

I understand it's not changing any time soon. And aren't Saturday afternoon's considered prime time for college football? NBC has a deal with Notre dame worth big bucks. How many of their games have been pre-empted for bison football? The way it sounds to me is ndsu negotiated higher exposure by paying for it. Und just went for the payday.

Bison are also getting games on fcs/espnu/fox sports one so it's not only in North Dakota. Bison football also is nationwide in hd with an Fta system(in line with maybe 4 out of 5 fbs programs).
