What is the word on why DU hasn't been winning lately?
-
You think DU doesn't have a military grade low altitude chamber hidden under a mountain somewhere?
-
Thx, Blackheart. Can you by any chance direct me to the Gwoz dasherwalk game? Jan 24, 2009. I looked for the Memories page where you provided us with so many archived games but couldn't find it.

Might be a game to watch as a warmup to tonite. Where can I find it?

Agree. Seems like DU is due to turn things around a bit. Get more points than they do this weekend. If we don’t sweep, though, it’s more important we get splits or better on the road at UMD, WM, and ASU. Tough stretch starting tonight. Need Zellers to score. -
Wouldn’t say they’ve become week, gf, but they may be in a days.

That’s deep, man. -
That’s kind of the end of the discussion, actually.

So UND gives up 10 goals to DU in their Feb 2016 series (at DU). How are these teams different this year?

Yeah, BU or BC could easily win the HE tourney. -

At this time, BC, BU, and UMn out of the playoffs. burd sad. -
An inspiring story. Reminds me of a guy named Bill Ring, who played with the Niners during the time I lived in the Bay Area. Ring was thought to be too small and too slow to play in the NFL, but he became a key part in the Niners’ emergence as a dynasty and a big fan favorite. Teammates and everyday fans understand what that kind of work ethic and team loyalty can mean. Good for Troy.

I’m glad it’s not just me. I thought Friday’s OT was all AI. And I’m still suspicious of it. -

Only as many as we want. -
Does the staff have a faceoff draw coach? Probably Dane, given his playing experience?

I would say that winning such things as hockey games means a whole lot less as you grow older. You’re probably right, though, that a lot of these guys think they can and will get both. -

Seems like a strong second half will help keep major junior players currently on the roster and help convince others to come based on what current players share about UND. It’s fun to win, even when it takes a lot of hard work. Money counts, but these kids are still impressionable. How do I know that? I don’t, but it sounds pretty good. -

SOS to this point ranked 30, so they’re about to face some tough sledding. -

Yup. We’ll know a lot more even a month from now. -
As a full blood Norsky, I have to ask why anyone would expect a Swede to act rationally.
-
If I remember correctly, UND’s first home game in Ralph I was against a Jeff Sauer-coached CC team.
-
Inherent conflict for you. If CC wins, you’ll be bummed, but your chances of getting lucky will probably take a big jump. Life can be cruel that way. Or maybe that’s life being kind . . . .

As someone who started their student section days at the old barn, I can tell you that we were excited to have the new building but a little disappointed that the atmosphere was more comfortable, less active, and quieter. The on-ice product wasn’t very good in the early-to-mid-seventies, though, so there’s that. -
That’s character with a capital C. Gold. And you’re right, gf: We wanted him.

I wonder if The Eagle has put in a word for UND with Carels, being that Carels grew up a Sioux fan close to Eddie’s home town.
