  1. His ETA?
  2. They have good team speed and some scorers on offense this year, which should earn opponents’ respect, which should be a good thing for the young D while they get used to the D-1 game. Speed really helps the back check too.
  3. They have recruited well this year, but this coaching staff is still on the hook for my overall negative feelings about my life. A few honest-to-Parise chippahs might change that, so long as they win it all.

Question: Now that we pretty much know what the lineup card will look like most nights this year, absent injuries and scratches (and a last minute Gretzky-like addition), which past Sioux team will look the most like this year's team? In January, not October. So I can get a preview on the memories thread. Panzer era too much to hope for?
  15. Wait . . . is that Goon? It's the tie.
  16. I like this time of year because it's prime woulda coulda shoulda time, and it brings out the best woulda coulda shoulda recruitment experts.
  17. A lot to look forward to this year at UND and elsewhere, including the question whether the Big 10 can keep up the pace.
  18. Funny to see the guy in the background who jumps on a box without the weight stack.
  19. Teaching them the one-paragraph story of muon decay in lieu of relativity math?
  20. How are they doing on culture? I hope some of those savages are taking Art Appreciation or English Romantic Poetry this summer.
  21. Welcome to the family, E.J.
  22. Those games will be interesting and may test our patience as much the boys' performance. D has a significant learning curve.
  23. Sax is too cool for burd to even try.
  24. Grindah coach in charge of culture management?
  25. Pretty much, except that you left out elizabethan poetry and organic chem.
