Wow! UND loses its first game to an FCS opponent this season and a thread discussing football coaching staff gets almost 200 new posts. Most schools would kill for that kind of passion in their fan base.

Well ... those are two sentences you don't normally see side-by-side. (But yes, I thought she was fine during her days at SCSU. Expecting great things now that she's a professional.)

I expect we will hang one during the Manitoba exhibition game. Three NCHC in a row is quite the accomplishment. The “next man up” part of UND hockey culture served them well last year. I hope this year our best guys stay healthy.

Agree. Note to UND: the terms of your agreement with the NCAA on "Fighting Sioux" include language that you'll use the name, from time to time, as a way to preserve your ownership of logo(s) and trademarks. What better way than to have Belfour and Greene wear their jerseys!

Did U-Michigan learn NOTHING from the horrible abuse done by athletic trainer Robert Anderson? Kudos to Steve Shields and Strauss Mann for stepping forward. I hope their lives are filled with success going forward.
