Great teams , I think, can do both. But a heavy forecheck only works with great team chemistry and a speed advantage over an opponent you think is vulnerable. Trap is low risk and can be done with average talent.

I’m impressed with our own zone play as generally sound team hockey. Not perfect, but they have got it together. now just stay out of the box. Especially period two.
