Totally forgot about Dev..... yes, he would be huge to get back. I think the game is beginning to consistently slow down for him.

Meh. Maybe? I dunno know. If that's the case, that's even more miserable than a curmudgeonly fan of UND.

Me thinks that "MJ23" is just another one of our professional contrarians who get their kicks on being "realists" and "pragmatists" when it comes to UND success or UND's road back to success. It really must be miserable to be that kind of "fan." I would much rather be someone, who, at least, hopes for the best and speculates on what could be, instead of a total glass-half-empty stick in the mud all the time. I mean, I realize there is a time and a place to be realistic and not pie-in-the-sky, but, sometimes, just sometimes, it's fun to be a fan (short for fanatic) and dream a little. I will call a spade a spade from time to time, but usually, it's after something happens and there is definitive evidence of sloppy play, whatever, etc. But I will always hold out hope for better days ahead, and that includes the next game on our schedule and beyond. It just makes things more fun. If I wanted to be a realist instead of a fan of UND sports, I would get a job as a sports columnist at the Forum or maybe some kind of a media analyst outside of Grand Forks. Edit: Before anyone gets the bright idea that I am poo-pooing critical thoughts or analysis by posters, that could not be further from the truth. Keep them coming! I simply am defending those that hold out hope in the face of adversity. Go UND!

Others that I don't know the status of are: Shaugs, Cummings, Edmunds, Walker (has he fully recovered from whatever was ailing him?) and Cerrentino (although, he should be ok as he came back into the PSU game, but it sounded like Doc Mann had to do some serious manipulation of his fingers).

I think he did some of that off season stuff in Grand Forks years ago with the UND sports acceleration folks, unless I am getting him mixed up with another former Cincy player.
-
Done went and got concussed.
-
Maybe your thinking of Labat, the other DL guy both teams were looking at that year.

96.1 The Fox Clear Channel Grand Forks KQHT

I was there, too. Davis didn't know what hit them, and O'Sullivan just looked bewildered. Funny, after the disparaging comments he made about having to go to Hicksville for a playoff game.
-
Cal Davis with pretty boy J.T. O'Sullivan at QB.
-
Agreed. Unintended consequences.

I was certainly no saint in college and my record can prove it, but, I think many people who Kelley answers to and influential stakeholders in the community and the state would disagree with you on that last line. They would say, given UND/Grand Forks' reputation in the nation for underage drinking and binge drinking, in general, that his "priority," whether it is perception or reality, is spot on.

PSU had a whopping 5,200 or so at its home game last Saturday.

Yeah, I know, meant get him in there on the ends and shuffle some one else in at NT. Looks like they already are doing that by putting Hinojosa in at NT. #94 had a solid game against The Griz. I Just really like what I see from #99 when he is out there, especially on third and long.

It's just mind boggling....could you ever imagine anyone making that statement about UND's D last year?
-
I heard that it was an illness rather than an injury for Anderson so hopefully he can recover quickly. I thought Brandon Miller did well last week against Montana's defense in place of Anderson.
-
UND plays EWU in exactly 3 weeks.
-
From the Twittersphere: THIS JUST IN: Eastern quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. has two broken bones in his right foot, will miss 3-6 weeks.
-
It's a bit. You'll catch on if you stick around here long enough.
-
It's one of the few bad habits of Siouxsports.com posters. Important standalone subjects often get lost in game or season threads.

Teeder, of course, on and off the ice!

D League? Europe? NBA? --JK .... I get your point.

I noticed that, too. That was pulled off with confidence. Two other things stood out in hindsight under the coulda, woulda, shoulda category: Where does the game end up if Joe eats it instead of the pick 6 and what happens if Norberg keeps his feet on that shoe string tackle? There was nothing between him and the endzone. Oh well.

UND and UNC had two very tough common opponents this week. UND could have very well been 0-2 if those other teams would have succeeded in doing to us what they did to UNC. To UND's credit, thank goodness they didn't. I watched parts of the UNC-EWU game last night and UNC is balanced experience wise with a very good freshmen who's a lankier version of Dooley. She has a complex slide move that is unreal. EWU battled hard to come from behind in the fifth and deciding set aided by some untimely errors by UNC.
