  1. I always just walk right in when the northwest gate is open and they are practicing, and I usually sit in the stands. Sometimes I stand on the track or sidelines and chat with the DAZ or Herald boys, if they're around.
  2. Took my daughter to swimming lessons at UND pool tonight and wandered over to Memorial for a few minutes. The boys were out playing 7 on 7, and as I took my seat on the running track in the shade, Tillman took a pick 6 about 55 yards the other way. The QB saw a brief opening and tried to zing it in there, but "Till" closed quick, stepped in front and he was gone. That man is seriously cut as far as muscle tone and looks to be showing some leadership out there. That's about all I saw in the brief time I was there tonight.
  3. This changes things for us!!!!

Interesting. On the surface, seems like a very very good hire. A head coach from a Division I program with multiple trips to the tourney in the last few years is taking the UND head coaching job instead of some mere assistant coach from an up and coming program, which is often the case with these kind of situations at UND. Lots of work to do. But this looks like a good start.
  5. The horse is already out of the barn on that one, hence the tight lips on both sides.
  6. I have a lot of respect for Coach Brown. I think he is fully aware of what he has and has not accomplished. He trashed his team pretty good and gave full cred to UND after their second loss to us. All that said, it would be fun to see how they would fair in the WAC.
  7. Yeah, you're right. I could see GT pulling something like that. Or he could just summon his media lap-dog buddies, Caillou and Izzo; they would stumble all over themselves with tweets and instaposts to get the word out for him as soon as he flashes the "Stream Yellow" bat signal.
  8. Maybe we should wait 20 months or so to see if the business climate changes. Standard practice in some parts.
  9. Yeah, T-Rex. I was thinking the same thing. Kinda funny when they're not well versed on their own trolling talking points!
  10. I don't get how BF responding to queries from the media is construed as "crying to the media" or having "media on speed dial. It is BF's duty to respond to questions from the media/ public when the information being sought is not protected by privacy laws i.e. FERPA, etc. The same goes for GT. I don't automatically assume that when I read a story in the media that quotes GT that he was the one that is crying to the media. I know that he is responding to a request for info from the media. Same goes for BF. These assertions to the contrary, without evidence, are absurd.
  11. Nah, Darrell, they're way too cordial toward each other to be rivals.
  12. Yes, I agree. Let's leave it to the true rivals. Ha ha!
  13. Why does it have to be an official open records request? The reporter simply asks BF or GT if there has been any correspondences between the two, and if there has been, the reporter asks if he/she can see them. The AD (whomever is asked), in this case, scrubs the documents of any protected, private information and hands over the public documents. Easy peasy. Not everything has to be a big production.
  14. The stuff must have just got REAL if the trolls from down south had to call in ol' CAS to settle down the "rubes" up here on SiouxSports!!! EDIT: It's like there's a big red siren down on Bozoville that goes off when stuff gets a little too hot for the loyal SU lieutenants to handle and they have to call in Capt. Aggie to try and save the day!
  15. Kelley is there. Good crowd compared to other demonstrations in the past.
  16. He actually works is ass off despite the cumbersome title.
  17. Must be; you'll get over it, though.
  18. Chapman?
  19. I'm sure future legal issues that are sure to ensue preclude that kind of transparency ... even in the public arena.
  20. Check the thread on Future Schedules.
  21. Watch your spelling, please, or they won't lend you much credence.
  22. Tillman file. http://www.uhcougars.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/alex_tillman_751003.html
  23. That is correct.
  24. Not sure if that was just a spring game wrinkle or what. He sure looked the part and given our need for wideouts, it might be just the spot for him. He looked very athletic, having not seen him play in H.S.
