Once he learns that he will create more space for himself when he dishes the puck more often, I think he could really become lethal. If the other team believes once he gets the puck it's like a vacuum, then they will key only on him, but if he gives and goes, he is likely to get it back anyway with the likes of Schmaltz, McGlaughlin or Blake.

To me, I would classify the Senden-Jammer-Hain line as a top 6 as typically you are talking scoring lines, and with their numbers last year in the games they were together they put up numbers, even playing against the best players on the other team. If you are talking minutes then, it would mean top six minutes as well. I suppose it is all semantics, but I would classify them as top 6, as they will be in minutes and possibly scoring.

Hmmm, I can't remember the last time somebody underestimated Holy Cross!
-
I’m guessing this year if anyone is dinged just a bit, Berry won’t hesitate to give them more time to mend, as there are a lot of guys that deserve to play, but may be the odd man out on occasion.

Let’s face it, officials decide a lot of NFL games by the things they call and don’t call. The Vikings benefitted greatly today.
-
So you’re saying they won’t be a top 10 team?

Don’t think Midco sports plus includes hockey. -

Not sure what his stats were, but he seemed to do well on taking draws as well. -
You’re writing Mankato off based on one game?

…and his fourth commitment. He originally committed to Wisconsin.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Yeah, I think the top five could go a number of different ways, as each team has a bunch of positives. How teams come together could be what separates the top teams. I find it interesting that the author says that Duluth was supposed to be weak last year without guys like Perunovich and Tufte. Tufte hasn't played for them since 2018-2019, so using him as an example seem odd. That's like saying we were supposed to be weak last year due to not having guys like Nick Jones or Rhett Gardner. -
I'll just say that it is very rare when at least a few of the freshmen don't struggle for a bit to transition to the college game. With that, I think some of the line combinations proposed may not transpire right away, but could by the second half of the season.
-
Depends if you can lasso them!
-
Are they taking into account, how easy/hard it is to recruit to certain programs? Maybe Mankato is #1 because they don't have all the built in advantages. Minnesota fans would say Mankato is #1 because they are all 25 year olds. I would say they do a great job at finding guys that will fit their style of play and have a great work ethic.

Guess I would like to see their numbers not being together, but production from that line was consistent when they were together, not so much when they weren’t.

For someone who claims to be a UND supporter, you seem to only rip the hockey team. If NDSU is so great, maybe you should change your user name around.
-
Just curious if UND is having problems selling out of other merchandise and having to restock despite a big price tag.
-
Plenty of announcers in the past have called us Nodak.
-
Gotta just eat at you that there are 15,000 UND fans that are willing to pay more than a price of season tickets for football to watch that potential scenario.

And Zags isn't Gonzaga's nickname. Get over it!
-
So then hold on to Bubba because he doesn’t have the tools. Funny with all the football Alumni that they can’t get any support. Another hockey donor popped up last week, but crickets from all the constant complainers. Excuse after excuse is what makes a losing program.
-
Meanwhile NDSU fans ask the question, would you rather have one loss a year early, or continue to extend an unbelievable streak of championships. I get what you are saying, but at some point looking to go 3 games undefeated at the FCS level shouldn’t seem like a bridge too far, especially when none of them have been against perennial powers.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

It sounded to me like he impressed at Bruins camp, and I believe he will have a lot of offers after this year, especially if he is in the conversation for league MVP. Doesn’t mean he will stick, but I think someone will sign him, hopefully he stays here to keep working on becoming the complete player. -
The year has barely started, who are you referring to?
