Our kicking game is great in games we don’t really need them to be. Now we need them to show up in the games they can make a difference.
-
Is Javance hurt? Did Romfo overtake him as backup?
-
Seems like UND doesn’t like to stay with things that bring them success.
-
Hopefully during Bruins camp and through UND coaches he understands that consistent engagement is necessary if he wants a good college career and subsequently a long NHL career.
-
Carter Sanderson with 2 goals tonight, as well as a shootout goal.
-
Kind of feel robbed of not getting to see him do that in a UND uniform because of injuries.
-
Yeah, bizarre that UNC with 1st and goal inside the 3 couldn’t punch it in for the win in the last minute, then settle for the field goal from inside the one instead of going for it on the road.
-
I am glad they kept playing, but if you are up by 9 with under 10 minutes left, you at least don’t snap it until under 10 seconds, not at 20 seconds.
-
But didn’t he just make his last attempt before that? To not even try on 2 occasions seems strange in a game where your defense is playing well.
-
This game has frustrating loss at that last minute written all over it. Show us that things have truly changed to a new era!
-
Discipline and game management need to improve. Hopefully they can learn by winning, but if they don’t — very disappointing.

…and how many of those departures were after the season started?

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Exactly! How many parents/kids that love that loyalty/security have no problem using the portal to go to another school if it meets their own needs for more playing time in different situations, or frankly just the opportunity to move into a better winning situation with Duluth’s fall from the top? -

So Mr. Negativity, who tells us that verbal commitments mean nothing, counts his chickens before they hatch on a win.

Very smart of Jackson. With the current UND players on campus it has got to be inspirational to see some of those names coming back, and can only feed into the loyalty of perpetuating the practice of coming back to prepare for the upcoming pro season and keeping connected to the program. Jackson realizes how important that is going forward to keep the UND family together past and present. Apparently another thing that Berry didn’t put any focus on to keep going. -
I see Schlossman said Bemidji State has a couple guys that played in the AHL that are eligible to play college because NCAA cleared them. What is the process that allows guys that played pro hockey to become eligible. Assuming guys that already played college hockey wouldn’t be eligible again if they played pro and decided to come back. Just curious how the NCAA has changed so drastically in that regard, and how transparent the new policy is.

Western hadn’t won anything until last year, and now they replace Denver as the team to fear? Western has never had a bullseye on them before, so now they get to find out how it is to be Denver and North Dakota, where every team is looking to knock them off.
-
Maybe if Spicer or his advisors had some common sense, things might have been different.
-
But in the same token, some people worry about no verbals, so it is depending on how positive or negative you want to be. Remember, the verbals for other teams have the same issue.
-
Based on the article it sounds like he is o.k. with his arrival on campus being open ended. We need guys committed to the program that allow a little flexibility in recruiting, especially with CHL players in the mix now who may not commit to college hockey until after they are drafted.

Did you like that he thought the coaching staff could do no wrong, and never called them out when the team was underperforming? I like someone who will at least have some critical eye to what is happening. Not saying he has to be super critical, but a little objectivity would be nice. -
…and still no Chipotle!

Have Lindberg and MacKenzie already for next year at defense.
