Well, we did beat Omaha without Kawaguchi, Pinto, Mismash and Bast on the road in a critical game for Omaha. With NCAA tourney at stake, I would imagine it will be a battle regardless, but who knows about Denver's mental and physical fortitude with all that has gone on this year, and the season not going as expected for them.

Yeah, with Pinto being off for two weeks, and leading the league in scoring on the line, I would have thought his name would have been heard a lot more tonight. Pretty quiet from a few guys. I know it has worked out in the past when we only have three guys killing a penalty, but Senden seems to lose that face off consistently in that situation, and puck possession is critical there. I don’t think Pinto is a huge liability in that circumstance, or Weatherby for that matter. Hopefully they don’t find themselves in that situation from here on out, because they need to win the special teams battle the rest of the way.

Has Josh Doan signed his letter of intent with Arizona State? Sure would have been nice to get him, but I’m sure his dad playing in Arizona for so long sealed the deal of him playing there.

Who get’s the 5th seed then, Denver or Western. Does it go to winning percentage with uneven games?

I tend to think that any top three NCHC team is good.

I do think that everyone is looking to knock them off. I’m already thinking of how hard it is going to be to go to Brookings next year and try to beat them again. Think of that times beating every team for how many years now and how you are bound to get beat at some point, whether it be you not having your best on any given day, or the other team stepping up and saying enough of losing to this team year after year.

If given the opportunity, does UND continue to defer to the second half and start on defense? I’m guessing yes, because they have started slow on offense as well. Looking forward to the point when Freund’s offense is so scary that they take the opening kickoff and drive it down the field like has been done to them the first two games. You certainly can’t complain about the overall results though.

I’m excited for the start but understand we have played well at home recently, but not as well on the road. Hoping the momentum has their confidence high enough to know they can do it on the road as well.

Don’t think Omaha would have beat us without our lack of discipline last time in Omaha, that is why they kept trying to taunt us into penalties last weekend. I think they know they aren’t set up to beat us 5 on 5.

Did they find out high school students don’t spread Covid or something? Why can the student section be hand in hand all the way around, but UND has to practice social distancing? Seem a bit odd of the Ralph.

I think they should hold off on some of these awards until after the regionals so they can get a little more idea on how conferences match up.

What still sits in my mind is that he made it sounds like they were friends and hung out together, and if that is indeed true, why didn't the boy's mom tell Miller I don't want you hanging out because you have been bullying him? Again, it seems like I am blaming the victim's mom, but it does seem odd, unless all the things he wrote in that apology letter were lying about them being friends and hanging out. You would think that there would be tons of people to dispute that though if it wasn't the case.
