Either we choose to try to rehabilitate people or we don't. It is curious to me why Berry decided to bring him in when we had a great stable of defense lined up. Maybe he was feeling the pressure from the fan's discontent a few years ago or maybe he does want to give the guy a chance to become a better human being, only he knows that. I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt because if things didn't improve in the win column he would really have his feet held to the fire with a situation like this. I just find it interesting that the victim's family brought the BLM topic and George Floyd thing into the equation when regarding Miller, as Floyd himself was given several chances to change his life after a run of bad choices as an adult. If we choose to go down the road of not giving second chances, that is fine with me, but then be consistent, and start to build more prisons to accommodate for that.

I'm on the opposite end of this. I don't think teams are likely to want to start sooner than the bubble. I would think the league would want to make sure teams come into the bubble "clean", and didn't Schlossman say UND will start their season in the Bubble.

Part of me thinks that this rule could help other teams a lot more than us because we were fortunate to keep Kiersted, Mismash, Adams and Kawaguchi around another year as it is. I would guess Kiersted wouldn’t come back, and really if he did, you risk losing some of your future at defense. I don't think most people were criticizing, only stating that our coaches don't have this wish to keep talented players off the field and generally can evaluate talent and capabilities that fit their scheme.

I don't think most people are knocking the kid, but most can be objective about his talent, because we all wanted him to do well. Many, including myself wanted him to get more touches, but it's not as if every time he touched the ball you expected something great to happen, as with Santiago. Just to be straight, are you saying he will be playing in the NFL?
