let's not get ahead of ourselves.........it was a great comeback tie. it must feel like a LOSS to Denver being up two goals going into the third. i wonder where all the energy came from in the third...........? we played like we did in the first half of the year. defensemen jumping the play and forwards creating opporuities rather than settling for a bad angle. i hope we can build on this and finish the rest of the season strong. after the game, my gut feeling is that the Sioux will win 4-2 tomorrow. Spiewak was awesome tonight! Parise was awesome tonight! let's get Bochenski going on Sat.

Cutter- the Sioux didn't win on Sat. becasue you didn't show your face at Sensor's. Let that be a lesson to you.

forecheck- i can agree with most of your statements but............every team needs their goalie to make 3 big saves a game. it doesn't matter if a defensmen gets beat or the other team has a few odd man rushes. once in a while the goalie has got to be capable of bailing them out. Siembida has proven to be unreliable in those situations.

forecheck- i don't know about playing.......... i mean...... if i don't play up to their standards they might "RIP" me on P.o.i. like they do to their goofer players.

in the Siouxsports schedule section it lists WDAZ & Midcontinent Cable for the CC series. hopefully, we'll get it at Sensor's. see you there.

speaking of SSM....... i caught the Sioux "farm-team" at Parade tonight vs. Benilde. the Crosby kid is definately for real! very Parise-like. Smaby is big and physical. Stafford also has good size for a forward (6-2, 200lbs) with good skills around the net. overall, i was very impressed with the whole team. fun to watch!!!!!!

can we move on? roby (rudy) is a special story for the goofer fans. "we're happy for you." nobody from NoDak is ripping him. let's leave this tired dog lie. besides, there's too much goofer presence on this board now.

for you G.F. residents, the radio show is going to have Kowalska on during the hour broadcast up there. P.A. said something about mixing it up for the Sioux fans. maybe, Kowalska will give the Sioux some "bulletin board material."

i don't know Demarchi personally so i don't know of his intelligence, BUT he's not a smart hockey player. Demarchi won't let this opportunity go without taking at least one cheap shot at Parise. although, i"d be surprised if Canady doesn't have a bullseye on his head after what he did last year. my only hope is that Matt Greene gets Demarchi squared off on sat. and shows him how to fight standing face-to-face instead of the usual cheap shots he likes to give to the back his opponents head. Goon said it best.

remember the days of eddie shultz or even dan hammer? these guys were up-beat guys that made the game very exciting with their commentary. although, as i remember, neither were hockey experts but they could call a game and add something to it with their style. the gerital twins of swat peedy and bredahl do little for me. **also, i like to listen to hennessy on the net but why isn't t. o'keefe doing the color commentary?

listening to the radio/internet tonight...... the 3rd period seemed to make my stomach quesey like a feeling i haven't felt since last year. this "feeling" has been in the back of my mind all season but i've been able to block it out. the one good thing we have going into next weekend is that we almost ALWAYS play C.C. tough! ( no matter who's in the lineup.) although, i'd feel better with two defensmen playing and a parise in a pear tree.

sagard hit the nail on the head. i personally know dubay and he says the things he says to make the Sioux fans go nuts. it's a bit. i guess it's working. when i talk trash to him off air he really doesn't have the same things to say as when he's on the radio. although, he is a goofer rube he's not as delusional as he seems on the air.

after looking at the stats from USA's first thumping at the hands of the RUSSIANS one of our Sioux players couldn't help from going unoticed. Matt Greene leads all players in penalty minutes after the first round. he accumulated 14 PM with a 10 min major. way to go Matt. read this in your best bob uecker voice, ala major league.

there was also a Parise feature in the st.paul pioneer press on dec. 24.
