Mancini's is a nice place to meet. they also have great steaks! although, you should jump on the shuttle early because we missed half of a period waiting for the next shuttle. the owner actually loaded up a group of Sioux fans in his van and drove us to Exel. nice guy!

I've seen this too many times. against UMD I noticed after this happend Parise went to the bench and slammed his stick against the boards in frustration. Did anybody catch that? regardless, i liked the idea of splitting those two up. it seems that Blais has done it only to go back after a few shifts.

One of my favorite players this year overall. he's a gritty player, something the Sioux could use more of with their forwards. his goals and assists come as a result of hard work in the corners. i think he'll become more of a goal scorer in his next few years. i'm glad we got him.

I'm sure the games will on the cable channel, thus the usual Sensor's crowd will be in attendance. although, if it's as packed as last weekend there's a very un-crowded dive-type bar........

Who in the hell is CB going to bring for goalies? Sofie hasn't played in a while, maybe the Sioux should think about starting him for 2 games to finish the season. of course i'm kidding but nothing would surprise me now.

a) i'll say it again......if you're a good team, you have to have a goalie that can bail your team out once in a while. 3 big saves a game is all you need and the sioux rarely get that. b) Siembida shouldn't be in net anyway. either stick with Brandt or Brandt/Ranfranz. those are your best options. how can you use 3 goalies??? Ranfranz plays two nights in kato and doesn't see any time this weekend? seems like a mind-screw to me. c) M. Prpich had a good series and has played well the last month despite our current woes. he plays physical which is nice to see. i wanted to leave this post with a positive thread and he rarely gets mentioned.

i just heard the other day that all the tickets have been sold and the hotels are booked-up.

dagies- a very noble jester on your part to stand up and take blame for the loss. as for the punk mavs fans........ the sensor's crew will be there to take care of any b.s. given out tonight. mavs fans are much like st.cloud rubes. they haven't won anything yet so every time they win a big game against established powers ie. ND, MINN, etc...... it's like winning the national championship. they're mouth tends to run a little too much at that point. as far as Canady goes......he just seems to be in the middle of these types of situations. Hennesy clearly stated "if somebody speared him, it WASN'T Canady!" i don't know if it's bad luck or what but he must have a reputation amongst the league refs. I think i speak for most fans when i say everyone is pulling for him to do well. tonight is a "must win" situation if there ever was one. confidence needs to be gained! hopefully, the Sioux can take themselves back to that "happy" place when the had 7 weeks of home games and we're fully confident in themselves. you have to win on the road to go anywhere this year, so let's start tonight.

i know there will be a bunch of the sensor's crew at the Sat. game. in fact, i have two extra tickets if anyone needs them. plans before the game aren't solidified but if the Sioux win we'll go to Metler's which is around the corner from the arena. sorry dagies, we'll miss you.
