Take this for what its worth. I don't like putting 2nd hand info on here but I was flying back home last night and on one of my connections sat next to a guy from Des Moines, IA. I had a UND shirt on and he mentioned Dan Hupke from Des Moines was coming to UND next year for school and will play football as well. He was a 3rd team all state back who according to this gentlemen was dead set on coming to a school with an aero space program from the start which limited his recruiting. He is a very intelligent kid who knows what he wants to do after college. Sounded like academic money, probably not a scholorship but it will be a name to follow. If the kid is as intelligent of a kid with as good of head on his shoulders as I heard, he is a fantastic pick up. Plus it sounds like he is a hell of a football player. Apparently had serious talks with both Iowa and Iowa St. as a walk on. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of this.

Apologize if this was posted earlier but an article on the top 10 players that UW couldn't let get away prior to the season. OL Dan Bell made the list and really sounds like a real solid OL prospect. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1088879-wisconsin-football-recruiting-10-in-state-prospects-who-cant-slip-away#/articles/1088879-wisconsin-football-recruiting-10-in-state-prospects-who-cant-slip-away/page/6

The championship should be a very good one to watch. Two deserving teams in the final. I go back and forth when I try and predict the winner. Sam Houston's qb appears to throw the ball better this year than lastbut still is far from reliable and their D is very athletic but got owned by a great offense last week. FU's defense is one of the best around but Woffrd and GSU showed the last couple weeks that an offense can move the ball vs. them. FU's offense isn't great but makes plays when they have too. Winner will be by less than 10 but can't predict the winner. Two weeks to pepare helps FU more than Sam Houston.

My opinion is he has always locked onto his first reciever and got away with it. This year it is just biting him. FU also lacks a WR that can create any seperation and spread the field and that has hurt as well.

If Mannassau got the commitment last night there should be 2 unknown if we have got all of them from early in the year.
-
One for sure. Two with Manassau tweeting last night another was close. And possibly a few from during the season.
-
Coach Mannausau tweeted a half hour ago that another recruiting chest bump was near......Stay tuned. Sounds like a big one. I'd like to hear names of this one and the last.
-
I'm curious who this last commit was. With Kotelnicki tweeting yesterday that the "dominoes are starting to fall" and now Mannausau tweeting today that "the day just got a lot better", must have been someone fairly high up on the board today.

Agreed with the points above. You don't pass on a player who appears to have the talent that Robertson does because you already have talent on the team. Depth and competition amongst position groups will only make the team better.
-
That kid can flat out fly. He would make a nice compliment to Golloday and Jackson after the upcoming season.
-
I'm sure he'll be back with a different alias posting from Fargo.

FU has a solid team. After watching both games I would say they are the favorites in the Summit league. They are much more balanced than BU. Our effort today wasn't good. When this team gets down, we seem to fold and take poor shots. We also gave up way to many offensive rebounds today. We need to get healthy and we need to start playing better on the road. Frustrating game today.
-
Of course you don't.
-
He's been recruited very hard by UNI as well. It would be nice to get him as an athlete and see where he fits in.
-
The coaches have a certain area they recruit. They do not recruit by position so it could have been a defensive recruit. Either way, Kotelnicki seemed pretty happy about the commitment.
-
According to Kotelinicki a lot of our top recruits were on campus this week and he was expecting a "chest bump" by the time the weekend was over. I'm hoping for more than one.

Its funny you bring up Dustin Iverson. I have family out west and one of them officiates and when I asked him about Iverson he had nothing but good things to say about him. Thinks he's going to be a very good ball player. He's a great athlete and a hard working kid from what I have heard. Plus he's really excited to be coming to UND. I didn't know much about him before but am excited to have him aboard.
-
You could've said the same thing about Schobert last year. You never know about recruits. The kid put up huge numbers and has great size and speed. I've seen some boards of people were talking about him as a candidate for Mr. Football in MN as a Jr. (it only goes to Sr.'s). I've never seen him play so I have no comment further than that. His highlight tape is impressive but every highlight tape should be impressive. I'll say welcome to UND Jake.

I've read a few articles of him getting a lot of interest from a few Big10 schools but also have seen an article from this summer that we were his only offer. Not sure on where he had offers too but he appears to be a real good talent.

As long as FU's offense doesn't give Wofford any points the game won't be close. One thing FU is very good at is protecting the football. Games FU has struggled in this year, they have turned the ball over. I think they win this one going away.

Watching the Broncos game last night and heaing the announcers talk about how Chris Kuper is the key to protecting Peyton Manning. I would love to see a couple OL like Chris sign in this class who want to come get coached by a former NFL Olineman- Greg Lotysz

You mean to tell me your school has out recruited a school that has spent the last five years in transition, not post season elgible, without a conference, in a constant battle with the NCAA over a nickname. Do you want a pat on the back for that? You also might want to take a look at the schedules of these common sports the last couple seasons cause UND has beat FU in every sport that FU has the balls to play in. All that "out recruiting" sure hasn't translated in head to head wins in these common sports. But don't let facts get in the way. #buttfootball #screamyellow

I believe that is him. It was a rivals article that I somehow got access too. Talked about how his recruiting is really picking up and he's gotten calls from Kansas, Minnesota and Illinois but no offers from them yet. From the sounds of it he really likes our coaching staff and hopefully (if this is the weekend he is visiting) really likes the opportunities he will have here. He may get a Big10 offer before its all said and done though.

Solid write up. This is a game we will miss Huff a lot. He was all over Braun last year and took him completely out of his game. He was too athletic for him. Not having him will hurt as you mentioned, Braun has been playing lights out the last couple games and as he goes, FU goes. This will be a tough game without Huff and a sub 100% Taylor.

Hopefully playing in the BigSky pays off with him. I'd like to see a nice OL and DL class this year. I also read an article online (which I can't find anymore) about a 3 star safety out of Illinois who is making a visit this weekend. Another position where playing time is wide open for a young kid going into next season.
