I heard Brescani say it the other day and it just sounds like another excuse to me. Blame the company for these guy's mistake, easy way to justify sweeping it under the rug. "Company targeted them, didn't explain the rules of forgery and they didn't know any better." So my question is, if someone applies for a position, shouldn't they know what they are applying for? You come on here deflecting everything and I just wanted your opinion on it.

Regarding either Izzo or Kolpack, I believe one of them questioned the company doing the hiring on their blog. As far as your fans questioning it, just read your fan forum, los of finger pointing there. Based on the defenses season of work so far we should have no shot in this game. As others have stated though I just have a feeling a different UND team is going to show up. We seem to play better on the road and I don't know if our offensive struggles from last week will linger. I just keep thinking our offense is going to show up and our defense is going to create a couple timely turnovers similar to Sac. St.. I think this is the week Daryl Brown shows up. UND is going to have a chance late and capitalize and the difference will be Zeb Miller.

Jiarea, do you think these players applied for this position or were they recruited because of their high profile status as your president suggested on Heitcamp's show the other day? I keep hearing that from bison fans and administration but have not read or heard any proof of it anywhere else.

Does anyone know if these players applied for the position? I heard the Bresciani on Heitcamp today and he made the comment that these players were probably targeted by this company as high profile people. So did the company approach one or more of these guys and ask them to do this. I've heard this excuse many times and it sounds to me its more of a cry for pity. He also mentioned that these guys have probably "suffered more than the average student". No kidding, probably cause the average student would not have their coach and AD tripping all over their dicks and putting their feet in their mouths trying to come up with excuses on why they shouldn't get in trouble. I respect the man for coming on the radio. Unfortunately to me after hearing the interview a second time on McFeely, he came across as a man making excuses for his this whole situation and the players involved.

Whats your thoughts on smoking, sticky fingers, speeding, illegal signiture signing Ojuri (anyone who knows the entire story behind his earler slap on the wrist name for him) still being on the team? What's Coach Bohl, Polosek or Fuch's rule for a 1,000 yard rusher? Do you treat them like a cat, 9 strikes and your out? You can try and point all the fingers you want but your starting running back has struck out once and is over half way to number two and your AD and coach still want the public to believe he and his buddies have faced enough from the public. Its almost funny that you try and defend his actions by pointing a Kristo. While some of Kristo's actions have not had any intelligence involved with them, they have not broken any law.

I did. I was having the same discussion with the guy behind me in our section. The entire east side of the stadium was much more full than it has been all season. Does anyone have any video of the Golloday catch? Not to times you'll see a catch with your team down 18 and the crowd that is still in attendance goes crazy. It was that good.

Also, props to Cal Poly. They are a solid team that will be in the playoffs this season. They have a very good RB and some speed of defense. They may run the table from here on out.

On the drive up, listening to the pregame show, Muss mentioned that Hanson wasn't at 100% but was hoping to get him in the game. We'll see what the extra week does for him. I think we need to get him back on the field to see if he can bring something back to the offense. Hendrickson, while he kept some plays alive with his feet, looked a little confused at times and missed some wide open guys. Also, the turning point for me on offense was when McGill was injured. He's such a good slot guy that always seems to get open. Our offense lost the rhythm they seemed to be getting at that point. Defensively, don't know what to say. We lost the corner to many times. Someone had to get off a block to make a play and it didn't happen. Also, missing an easy INT early allowed them to continue a drive and score a TD. Our defense couldn't get itself off the field when the opportunities were there in the 1st and 4th quarters. Looked good 2nd and 3rd.

Apparently the name changing isn't enough for Oakland. Maybe someone should tell them they are in the same conference as Omaha, Kansas City, Fort Wayne and FU. Maybe that would help keep them around.

Why would UND move from a one bid basketball league to another? Your best basketball program just left the conference and the other has one foot out the door. But now that people know that Kansas City, Omaha, Fargo, Brookings and IUPUI are in the conference I see the prestige rising imediately.

Ojuri has had much more issues than traffic violations. He's on strike 5 but he's a 1000 yard back so that is acceptable. Remember he already had a one year suspension for multiple infractions and was lucky to get off with that. I'm sure you already knew that being a big fan of both schools and all. Also, if you think these guys are going to get suspended later in the year, Gene Taylor and Craig Bohl have a nice chunk of land they would like to sell you just north of Fargo. Just write that check out the BSA Improvement Fund.

NDSU is playing Montana and Montana St. as non conference in the next couple of years so your theory of NDSU not wanting to play UND non conference cause their conference schedule is too difficult and they don't want to play ranked teams doesn't hold much water. Both of those schools will likely be ranked at the time NDSU plays them.

UNI is a great program but I find it interesting that just cause they are UNI they can only be beat by MVFC teams. They are down right now. They lost some key players from last season and are going to finish around .500 in their conference.

The defense has me nervous for this week. They have to be assignment sharp and cannot miss tackles. Plus, the secondary cannot play as poorly in this game as they did last season vs. Cal Poly. We need to force them to methodically drive the ball down the field. The big play has killed us this season. I'm hoping the difference between this year and last is the fact that we have an offense now that can move the ball and keep our defense off the field.

The UNI who got absolutely dismantled by Montana last year? UNI is no better this year and I'd still put Montana above them.
