We are deep at WR but I don't think you can pass up WR who appear to be as talented as Carr and Robertson. Both of those guys appear to have the skill set to step in for McGill and Hardin after next year and will give us the burners on the edge to go along with Jackson (who was just named a freshmen All-American) and Fletcher. I think we had to address getting a couple speed guys outside this year.

That would be great if the chest bump was Thurman. Landing Norberg, Aeron Carr and Thurman would be a great way to wrap everything up.

I suppose us and Portland St. are in the same boat. They had a true freshmen QB last year who put up decent numbers, he's their starter next year. We have a couple freshmen who are competing for the starting job and are the favorite going into spring/fall. We'll see how it plays out but the comments make me question his commitment status. Still would love to see him on campus next fall

Twitter search shows Kyle Ruhe has committed to UND. TE out of Great Oak HS in CA. 6'5" 230lbs.

I think a lot of Miller's lack of production last year was attributed to our offensive line play. We were just to inconsistent. Obviously injuries did not help that but it needs to improve this year. Being able to run will help our freshman qb (whichever one it is), out dramatically next season.

Its going to be tough to get him. He is obviously a big talent. Hopefully the trip went well and Coach Nurse can work some magic. Lots of playing time available at the CB position.

Did you do a survey to find out if there really is more UND fans than FU fans that want the game or are you just basing your opinion on what the 50 people who routinely post of bville think compared to the 50 people who routinely post here think? As Darrell mentioned above, this discussion was brought up by Fargo media yet I love how FU fans somehow spin it that its UND who needs this game. Play 10 games next year or pay someone $300,000 to come to Fargo. We really don't give a !@#$. Any team GT calls for the game holds all the negotiating power if their AD does their homework.

According to a tweet from Armond Hawkins family he was on campus this weekend (twitter search Armond Hawkins). If one of Coach Nurse's chestbumps was him this would end up being a huge weekend for the secondary. The kid has a brother who is a USC commit. Armond missed his junior year due to injury and that seemed to hurt his recruiting but was in contact with a lot of Pac10 schools during this season and had a few FBS offers. I believe he was our #1 CB target. I'm sure the opportunity for early playing time at CB is appealing to him.

Our schedule is set for next year. Every team they call now knows that they are desperate for a game and will be willing to spend a lot to get to a team to Fargo. They have the extra $150,000 from the buyout + they spent $250,000 out of pocket last year. Someone is going to get paid a lot of money to come to Fargo and it won't be UND. It won't happen while GT is at FU and right now I am fine with that. We don't need the game next year but I like how Faison says we'd be willing to talk. Anyone, anytime.

So after the solid day today, what are everyone's thoughts on positions of need yet? A couple LB's, CB, TE and a RB.

He was our top target at safety. 6'2" and a player who appears to have good range. Much needed after seeing Big Sky offenses the first time.

Like vince mentioned above, most guys in that area that have seen him play are very high on him. Apparently he missed most of last year with a broken hand but came back and had great stats this year. Needed to add a player at QB this year.

Would love to see Coach Luke get a chest bump today. Hopefully Thurman's visit went well.

Thanks for caring about UND. I suppose FU doesn't have to worry about success of one sport affecting attendance of another during the same season. Your women's team is terrible so MBB is the only show on campus.
