  1. It would likely be from 12 years ago and than Bohl locked all the media out of a Saturday scrimmage and issued knee pads for when they were ready to come back.
  2. “If” all those teams made the playoffs. And “If” those regular season games were playoff games. “If” those playoff games weren’t at neutral sites and at the same locations. Than maybe……..
  3. Is defending a “what if” scenario really simple minded? Simple minded would be one if. “if” we want to be considered for that playoff, than we need to move up.
  4. Lol. One post is a lot is it?? The fact you are even arguing a pretty deep “what if” scenario is equally as funny. If FU was in the MOuntain West and if they would have gone 12-1 in the regular season and and if they would have won their conference championship game if the FBS had a 12 team playoff than I suppose FU fans and Don are right, they would have been considered for the playoffs. Reality is none of that happened and every FCS team could make the same argument. Instead of throwing a pity party of “ifs” move up.
  5. I don’t give a !@#$ what you do. Trying to validate it to the common fan with 5 “ifs” in a scenario is funny don’t you agree. None of what he layed out in his scenario could have happened this year but in FUs fans minds they are now tied to Georgia and would have been in the FBS playoffs
  6. The fact that Dom bases his whole argument on “if” FU was in the Mountain West and “if” they went 12-1 and “if” they won the conference title game and “if” the playoffs was at 12 teams “than” they would have been considered for a playoff spot is comical. The amount of FU fans eating that up and using it as a “valid” argument on why they need to move up is even more funny. literally any FCS team could make that argument cause it’s all hypothetical. also Dom, the commissioner of the Mountain West will leave the table when the P5 commissioners tell him/her the meeting is done. Not when he/she gets their demands met.
  7. Was a great place to stand and watch the game but I applaud UND/Alerus for getting a business on board to do something creative for football. Peterson can buy all remaining tickets for every home game in that area for their customers, win/win for both. If it somehow means more people watching games and more revenue for a program that desperately needs it than we need to do more of it.
  8. My early guess is either back at UND or in the southeast US. Not a lot of options out there right now.
  9. If for some reason he doesn’t pan out Sather will get the blame so I’m willing to give credit for getting him here. I watched one of his games a few weeks ago and my gosh he is a good player.
  10. Retention of talent. UND basketball and hockey can exist at the same time and is a poor excuse for the state of the roster. If Sather was able to hang on to even one of the two players that left last year and wasn’t a grad transfer this team looks different. If he is unable to retain the young talent on the team this year I will begin to wonder.
  11. If we could somehow get that 4th foul on Nelson
  12. Possibly the best player in the court first half?? Him or Nelson. Good young talent.
  13. UND will either keep it close due to shooting the 3 well or get blown out by 30 because we don’t. NDSU has really built a nice team and will make it difficult for us with their length. Hoping for the best but will drink a few before going to the SHAC tonight.
  14. Who would have known that is all it takes to win a National Championship.
  15. Keep beating the !@#$ out of that horse. Not sure it’s dead yet.
  16. I’m planning on it. QB improves, OL improves and I think we try some things to find a WR that fills our current need. I really like our RB room. Basing it on my opinion that I think the offense is improved and we score more points next year. I also have a bunch of confidence in the offensive staff that they learned from this year and will be better. Lots of young coaches there that will improve. Defense will be as good.
  17. Hopefully he also brings his teammate.
  18. And if the kid turns into a player, “it’s about time we recruit that kind of player”. It’s a lazy position to take.
  19. If he gets both accomplished in the short term great. I just don’t think he will have the bandwidth and think the football solution is more beneficial for the conference. It makes it more difficult for a school to find a FBS home for football only if a Summit football league is formed. My example is based on the Summit providing a home for the sports today and football.
  20. He will do well. Great player. Those jerseys are terrible.
  21. Making it easy for one school to be an affiliate member of an FBS conference for football and have a cost effective solution for their other sports does no favors to the other Summit league members. Also, the stability of the Summit is the Dakota schools. Lose one of those and the conference is not appealing to anyone. A new commish needs to do what it takes to keep the four together. Football does that before hockey.
