Not saying I agree with it. They have been rumored for what…..2 years. Plus they have the major donor money behind them that also is a major donor for 3 other teams in the conference.

Shooting around 20% in 3 point attempts when that is a significant part of the offense will lead to games like this. It’s why we could be a first round exit in Sioux Falls or make a run and win a couple games.

The team played well last night. The emotion from the team was fun to watch. I liked to see the small things like when Denver tried to make a couple runs the team made a play or two to swing momentum.

Offensive pieces are there. SDSU played in space yesterday. Got NDSUs safety’s and LBs out of position and didn’t tackle well. Defensively need to address to DL/OLBs. Both teams yesterday physically dominated us during the regular season and are the bar for winning championships. My last takeaway is facilities matter. SDSUs investments into facilities that match NDSUs aligns with their ascent to consistent on field performance. Long process but they had a vision, found the financial support and executed.

No one is arguing that. Refs just need to call it consistently both ways. Free throw discrepancy of 37-20 in favor of FU had little to do with physical play.
