  1. That is Camy's hometown, so that would be him. Also, Javon Tillman picked up an offer this weekend. Assuming Mike Adams did too, but haven't seen confirmation.

Getting one or both of those safeties would be big. Looking at Adams twitter it's seems like he has an upcoming visit to Hawaii possibly in the works. If we are going the JUCI route, I want guys who can be here in December which I believe both of these guys can do.

  2. It would make for a nice weekend if we get our current group of commits reaffirmed, get a few December qualifiers to commit (both safety's that are visiting) and make a solid impression on the FBS transfers in campus (if there are any). I'm confident all will enjoy their time here today and have to line the direction of the program.

  3. That's another exaggeration - driving is just a very small part of this guy's overall job (as I read the story) but still seems like a sweet job. (Damn defending FU again i have to go take a shower I feel so dirty.).

I have to admit FU makes it so easy to poke fun at them - they are the Tommy Boy of higher education. Because the hits just keep on comin ...http://www.inforum.com/content/ndsu-foundation-turmoil-over-high-turnover-allegations-retaliation

So what else does he do?

It may not be necessary for colleges in ND to have drivers for their presidents but I wonder about Texas.

  4. UND offered Moorhead RB Jade Lawrence.

I saw him play a couple games this season. He is a heck of a football player. Tough to pick a position but I would think safety. Tough kid who does not avoid contact.

  5. I'd say that is a fairly accurate representation of how the rest of the league viewed UND this season.

We here see positive strides and much to be happy about. The losing record and conference finish is what stands out to many voters despite some nice stats.

They judge the defense on lack of offense?

If you read any opposing coaches comments, every coach knew how good our defense was coming into games with UND.

  6. Anyone know how many starters we are going to lose going into next season, and which side of the ball we need to recruit hard. I know offense needs help but if we lose a lot on defense we may need more of them depending on the redshirts coming back.

Majority of starting D is back. Lose a couple in the secondary and one in the d line.

  7. For all the Hooker detractors, last nights game is a prime example of his value. Does so much for this team that doesn't show up on stat sheet. I know he played in 2nd half of sdsu game but I am amazed at how people are so eager to replace him. Great defender; knows how to pace a game, getting better as a shooter. But most important is he is a great locker room guy. Easy kid to cheer for in my opinion. Really glad we have him.

Agreed. For a true freshman last year I thought he played well and he will be key to any run we make this year. We do have a lot more back court depth than front court so he can take his time and get to 100%

  8. It really worries me when I see people thinking that an easy schedule is our ticket to the playoffs. Playing tougher teams is what makes a team good. If we can only make playoffs by running an easy path, do we really deserve to be there? If we aren't playing the best, we'll probably get blown out in the first playoff game too.

I know there was no direct mention of the post season in either post, but the implications are pretty clear.

The selection committee has not really shown it puts a ton of weight on strength of schedule. Get to 8 wins and have all if them be FCS or higher and your chances of getting in are great. That being said, UND and it's program had shown no signs of not being willing to play anyone. It's the conference rotation that left EWU off the schedule.

  9. UND has offered Roland Genesy, JUCO RB out of Arizona. Has an offer from Indiana State. I believe he spent a year at Tenn-Martin before going JUCO. Also believe he is a December grad so could come in for Spring ball.

Any transfer/Juco players that we can get up here for 2nd semester and spring ball will be huge.  Give them a chance to adapt and the coaching staff some time to work with them and determine if they are going to work out.

Also gives additional time to get some of the clearinghouse stuff worked out.  Didn't one of the dback from last year have paper work issues?
