Going to be an interesting weekend. On the road vs a ranked opponent. The two top defenses in the league. Two teams that try and run the football and don't appear to throw it much/well. Lots of good story lines. Hoping the game gets the coverage it deserves this week

I'm more concerned about our coverage teams than I am out QB play.

I didn't think they played terrible but two of Davis' TD passes were in a safety who was a 3rd stringer last week and needs to get reps. They also really struggled on communicating who is blitzing and were late on a few snaps. That shod also improve. Offensively, I'm holding judgement until Georges gets back. We need a burner to stretch the field. Smith in the slot may be another wrinkle. Next week will be a chance to get a ranked opponent on the road.

Not surprised with the secondary playing poorly today. The injury to Arnell and Brown leaving left a lot of guys who were 3rd stringers a week ago logging a lot of plays today. Our depth in the secondary as the season goes along will be a concern.

Agreed. To make this season a success UND has to find a way to kick start this offense and get these games starting this weekend. Glad to see there is some experimenting with offensive personnel. Play the best players. Looking forward to seeing how the team responds tomorrow.

I have no problem with Muss' recruits the culture needs to change though that summertime is mandatory. Our player development for those years was terrible.

Disappointing to see Brown leave the team. I understand it probably emotional to be demoted but with the time he has put in this is likely something he will regret down the road. Would hope he has a change of heart and decides to stick it out the remainder of the season. You never know when you will get an opportunity.

With the way he has thrown it the last 6 quarters, Davis is going to dare us to beat them passing the football. He hasn't made a throw or looked like he has recognized the defense pre-snap since halftime vs. Drake. I expect to see a lot of guys in the box and us struggle to run the ball.

I don't think it would. I believe there are no exit fees for UND if they share their intentions with the conference.

I'd like to know more detail before trying to throw UND under the bus. They have several huge projects going on around campus right now and funds had to be secured on all of them before they could start. Did they upgrade parts of the project, did something unexpected come up during construction etc. I have no problem with projects being delayed to be completed correctly so these projects do not turn into the presidents house at NDSU. You are also telling this story as the friend of a friend. Hard to believe every detail is being repeated. If true, why continue to work on projects you aren't getting paid for?

In the flip side, maybe this is what Faison was referring to when he said the programs had to be reevaluated. Smit would be scary the amount of travel costs we would save and how easily COA could be covered without having to drop a thing. We would probably be able to bump coaching salaries as well with the bump attendance would get.

When is Georges back? What are the odds Santiago moves back into the slot? Do we look to insert Francis into the O-line to try and kick start some things? Interior line play was poor vs. NDSU. Hopefully this week on the first one. I think we need to look at doing the last two.
