Unfortunately I'm with you on this. I passed on the $25 ticket tonight (excellent price by the way) and watched it on tv instead because it's much easier to just shut off the tv and move on.

Time to put away the Sioux gear until October…Crap. Boys played well for stretches but offensive zone turnovers killed them. Couldn’t clear the puck on D and just not enough sustained O zone time to be effective. Gotta hand it to Western; they made more plays than Sioux and got the reward. Interested in seeing how many people show up tomorrow’s championship.

UND has to really ramp things up this weekend to get to the NCAA's. Had they taken care of business in non-conference against supposedly lesser opponents (Bemidji, Cornell, and Bobby Morris) we would be in a much better pairwise spot. Current pairwise is 17. Change the loss against Bemidji to a win, split with Cornell instead of getting swept, and don't go to OT against Robert Morris and you're sitting at 13. The road is exponentially tougher now needing wins against Western and ASU/DU. It just emphasizes how important those early games really are.
