  1. Well there’s what we hope happens and what we think most likely will happen.
  2. Can we add Jackson Blake to the list?
  3. There is also one in Moorhead. So yes, this would be four for the area.
  4. Because they are spending all their money on football and hoops?
  5. Map shows 3 Chipotle's in Fargo...I thought you were good at keeping track of Chippaz?
  6. So now UND is the Grambling of the midwest?
  7. You're not wrong...I just want to see this team come out and give it their all. Win or lose.
  8. If the guys show up and play their asses off we can't complain about the outcome; win or lose. If they decide to play a "full 30", then people will have the right to raise some serious questions about the direction of the program. I'm just hoping we put the guys on the ice that give UND the best chance to win.
  9. I think we have a bingo!
  10. Hey, not everyone makes the conference tournament, much less earn a trip to St Paul.
  11. I think the only exit interview is when gfhockey says "we didn't want/need him anyway".
  12. If a guy is truly leaving because he feels he not getting the development to help him to the next level (whatever that may be), then I would agree it's a black eye for the program. I don't know enough about the money being offered to these guys but if Michigan or BC is offering 6 figures plus through the NIL or some other back channel, it will be tough to keep your better players.
  13. That appears to be correct; at least for now. ================================================================= Generally, international NCAA athletes on F-1 student visas are restricted from accepting NIL money in the U.S. due to visa restrictions that limit their ability to work, but they can engage in NIL activities in their home country. Here's a more detailed explanation: F-1 Visa Restrictions: Almost all international student-athletes in the U.S. are on F-1 student visas, which limit their ability to work while in school. NIL and "Work": The question of whether NIL deals constitute "work" for purposes of visa restrictions remains open, and new developments in the world of NIL and college athletics have continued to muddy the waters. NIL Activities in Home Country: International athletes can accept and promote NIL deals in their home countries, as these activities are not subject to U.S. visa restrictions. Passive Engagements: While NIL opportunities are prohibited, foreign athletes are allowed to profit from "passive" engagements, such as merchandise sales or EA sports video game licensing agreements. Federal Change Needed: Ultimately, according to nvgt.com, federal change is needed in order for international student athletes to benefit from NIL to the same extent as their U.S. counterparts.
  14. So really, recruiting never stops? Once a guy commits to a school, you can just keep offering him a sweeter deal in hopes that he'll transfer? They need to bring back the old transfer rule where you have to sit out a year; not a fan of the current free agency in college sports.
  15. I'm guessing there will be plenty of seats if you want to move around.
  16. I dread this thread every year. We don't have that many HUGE pieces so a couple guys would be a pretty big impact.
  17. I don't think he was saying you look like a dipsh*t...it seems like he was referring to flopping players looking stupid when they don't get the call.
  18. Any way to know which end Sioux will shoot at twice? Most likely would be the opposite end of any seat I select.
  19. And Croal probably.
  20. I looked at the $45 package but it appeared that it didn't include the championship game. When I tried to go look later, I couldn't get in. There's tons of seats available at the regular TicketBastard price but only a few for the $45 deal.
  21. I know you're trying to get the nchc app, but are you trying to get it for the games this weekend? If so, the games are only on CBSSports channel which can be streamed using a couple different sites.
  22. yeah, I'd venture to say it's probably second best.
  23. They had like one flipping door open to get from the box office area into the arena so it was absolutely packed to get inside. Every time I went to get concessions or use the bathroom, they wanted to see my ticket before they let me back in my section. Also, handrails about halfway down our section and then they just stopped. Made it tough for the older fans to get down to their seats. That place SUCKED.
