Glad the Yankees lost last night.

Kids were holding up signs trying to get them on camera. They allowed “Start the BUses” but not so much for “Sucks to BU”.

Was at the game last night at the end where Sioux shoot twice. That was quite a display for the first 20. Can’t remember scoring 5 in a period other than 1997 National Championship game in Milwaukee.(against BU) looking for a little more pushback from Terriers tonight, we all have seen how chippy they can get…especially #18 Lachance. He was looking for somebody, well anybody to hit before, during, and after the whistle.

The boys should be jacked for this weekend's series...major pairwise implications, playing a nationally known program that is currently ranked #3 (USCHO) and on home ice. This is why you play college hockey. I can't wait to see 120 minutes of all out Sioux hockey!

Whether or not they really care about the Penrose (hmm...)they have a long way to go to be a team that can make an impact in the NCAA's. Would love to see it!

Just got home from the game...I thought our effort, jump, zone time, etc. was way better than Friday. Lot's of chances to put the puck in the net, just didn't make it happen. Kato blocked a ton of shots and their goalie played well. All that being said, how the f*ck do you fail to score a single goal? In the first period we had the puck in their end for what felt like about ten minutes but no goal. They get the puck and come down and bang they score. Hedquist was solid but I've never seen a Sioux team win when scoring zero. Better sack up boys; BU is coming to town next week!

Hope so...for me the jury is still out on TJ. He only gave up two goals but struggled a little with rebound control early. Kudos to him and Sioux D for sticking with it and really shutting the Purple Cows down in the thrird.

Can't sleep on Mankato...always play UND tough.
