    Thought maybe the boys would run them out of the rink tonight after going up 3-1 but credit to the Clowns who just kept coming at UND the entire game. Brett Larson is a hell of a coach and had his guys dialed in. Still love watching this group but puzzled by the recent defensive struggles on what look to be simple plays. Happy for the seniors that go out on a high note at home and happier that my family got to see the games live this weekend. Let's go kick Western's ass!

    I hope the boys snap out of the current funk they're in...that being said they still find a way to stack NCHC points. If they start playing what looks like a full sixty again I think they will be very dangerous come tourny time. Senior leadership gonna come in handy I think. Go Sioux!

    Michigan Wreck was a BAD team back then. Somewhere I read that Joyce was so tired by games end he could barely lift his arms after scoring goal #6.

    Tough game tonight...loved our resiliency in the third though. St Cloud seemed to just want it a little more; especially in the first two periods. Happy that Zakreski is back, I think that will pay dividends going forward. Spoony didn't have a lot of help early but seems to be just a little off his game. Looking for a big push tomorrow and a regulation win going away. Go Sioux!

    Sioux played Sparty in 1987 at Joe Louis Arena for the NCAA championship. Big advantage for State having all their fans in the building but it didn't matter as the Circus went up 3-0 to start the game and they pretty much traded goals after that. Maybe all that green in the crowd inspired UND...no matter, that team was a WAGON all year and pretty much crushed everybody. Should have went to that game but was just a poor college student so stayed in Forks and watched the game in some girls dorm room that had a nice sized color tv.

    My guide shows the same as your guide; looks like I'll have to fire up the NCHC app. I will check cthat Midco channel Friday night; the guide is not always 100% accurate.

    Honestly I was surprised he didn’t challenge Wiebe more on that one after their D had been beaten. He pretty much stayed back in the net; didn’t seem to come out even a little to cut down the angle and no poke check.
