UND has to really ramp things up this weekend to get to the NCAA's. Had they taken care of business in non-conference against supposedly lesser opponents (Bemidji, Cornell, and Bobby Morris) we would be in a much better pairwise spot. Current pairwise is 17. Change the loss against Bemidji to a win, split with Cornell instead of getting swept, and don't go to OT against Robert Morris and you're sitting at 13. The road is exponentially tougher now needing wins against Western and ASU/DU. It just emphasizes how important those early games really are.

If the guys show up and play their asses off we can't complain about the outcome; win or lose. If they decide to play a "full 30", then people will have the right to raise some serious questions about the direction of the program. I'm just hoping we put the guys on the ice that give UND the best chance to win.
