I am sure that he will be sitting out a year due to his transfer. How good is he? Who knows at this point - he was not redshirted last year and played as a true freshman on a very average team. He played about 15 minutes a game and averaged 4 points. With another year of practice and adding some pounds, he may contribute in the future. I am sure he is walking on, hoping to earn some scholarship $ next year.

Meindel has nice size (6'3", 190+) and apparently has a great leg. His strength may be punting but he averaged 67 yards per kickoff - very good for a high schooler!
