  1. She is cute plus one source says she has the 7th fastest time in the 400 meters in MN HS history. She holds the MN state tournament record with 57 assists in a game. It appears that she was recruited for track but decided to play VB. Looks like a great "get"!
  2. Fully agree - this crap is getting old!!!
  3. I don't know for sure but I wouldn't be surprised that they handle their own transportation - probably less expensive, getting to/from airport and to/from the fieldhouse.
  4. I forgot this was an afternoon game. We won 78-66 - nice win for the ladies. I see Houdek played - and contributed. That will help!
  5. When does the Christmas break begin for UND students? It would sure be nice if the new coach could meet with the team (and some individuals players) prior to them leaving for home for 2-3 weeks.
  6. I don't think they have officially said so but I believe he has a concussion.
  7. Our guys must have been reading their press clippings!! This is ugly!
  8. Burnette has nice size for a guard (6'5"). Any idea if he is DI material? If so, who is looking at him?
  9. It was mentioned on the SU thread that a couple of Williston State players were at the game. I assume one of them was Houston Lavachek, a 6'9" forward from Glenburn, ND. He has grown 3-4 inches over the last year and a lot of folks are starting to pay attention to him. He played guard his first couple of years in HS before he really starting growing. He is starting for Williston and has played the second-most minutes on the team averaging 14+ points per game on the 8-1 team and shooting 40+% on his 3's. He did not play summer AAU ball so, along with his late growth, he probably was overlooked by many teams. He was a qualifier so he can transfer after his freshman year if he chooses. I am not sure if CC freshmen qualifiers can be officially recruited or not. If anyone has some knowledge on this, please provide some insight. It sure sounds like he would be a great addition to the program.
  10. I thought I posted this but, if so, it was on the wrong thread.... UND has offered C Kyle McKiinley, a 6'10", 215 prospect from Stillwater, MN He also has an offer from UNC but he is starting to get a lot of attention.
  11. I am quite sure the following is correct - feel free to point it out if I have anything wrong! He was very highly recruited out of HS and the sixth man on the LaSalle team that went quite a ways in the Dance a couple of years ago. He had some concussion issues and transferred to Green Bay to be closer to home. I am not sure what happened with him at GB last year but there was a coaching issue and five underclassmen left the team after the season. Apparently he can "light it up". Hopefully, we will see this happen as early as Sunday!
  12. That is great news - I understand his reputation as a great shooter is warranted. Another new dimension - a taller weapon from the o/s that should be able to shoot over the taller guards we will face.
  13. Disappointed with an 18 point loss but, if Kaminsky didn't have an unbelievable night, it likely would have been about a 10 point game. We played pretty well as a whole especially considering UW is a top 20 team, we were playing in their barn and it was their 4th game compared to our second.
  14. Nash trying to do way too much offensively against talented competion.
  15. How do you stop a 7 footer shooting 3s?
  16. Too many fouls - UW shoots FTs very well! Not good!
  17. This may or may not have been previously mentioned but the game is being televised on DirecTV 610.
  18. Obviously, he is a UW grad but he was at most every UND FB practice with his dad while growing up. I think he has strong feelings towards UND.
  19. I don't think anyone (including Faison) disagrees with any of your comments.
  20. I would think the change in coaching staff may be more of a positive than a negative in keeping some of our better young talent. Many have to have been disillusioned for much of the season due to our poor results and the real or perceived lack of leadership. An energentic new coach and staff may excite players that the future is bright at UND. Hopefully, that will be the case!
