Maybe some further info in tomorrow's Herald? Hope so.....

TV strikes again! No picture here in Mayville. I thought "trouble on the network" was a thing of the past. Reminds me of the fifties when I was growing up! Commonplace then.

I may have missed this, but which games, if any, are on FSSN this year (women or men)?

According to the Herald, this game is being televised on Ch. 23 Saturday.

Just got an e-mail from P. Sweeney. He said it most certainly IS on FSSN Saturday, as are all home games. (I could just see him shaking his head). I explained about the one schedule that didn't show the Saturday game, which of course has been corrected.

I bet that's not accurate either. During the FB game they werfe still saying 5 games.

Yeah. I can't imagine it not being on. They make a big point that every home game is on FSSN. I can't believe they would pull one at this time (without it being splashed in the sports pages somewhere).

I did e-mail Sweeney at about 3:30 P.M. yesterday. As yet I've not received a reply.

I just e-mailed Pat Sweeney about saturday night. He is usually good about getting back to me. I'll let you know here what he says.

All home hockey games are on FSSN.

I see where televised Sioux hockey games will be replayed in GF cable channel 3. I believe it stated in the Herald that replays would be Tuesday and Wenesday at 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday and Thursday at midnight (I THINK that's correct). Is channel 3 a channel that MIDCO carries? Or is it the university channel?

Phil Sykes was a walk-on, as was Craig Ludwig.

I forget....was Davidson a recruited walk-on, or is he on scolarship? If a walk-on, it's be nice to have him make an impact eventually. Who was the last walk-on to play significant hockey for the Sioux?

Just went to the College Hockey News TV Schedule.......it shows the two games in late December in Michigan being on both Direct TV and Dish (channels 664 & 446). The station is FSD+ whatever that is.

Any word on a national hockey TV schedule like last year? It's really handy to see when the Soiux are playing on CSTV, Fox Sports Rocky Mt., etc.

Speaking of schedule, FSSN is supposedly televising 2 away games this year. Anybody know/have a guess which ones?

Wow. A ton of respect for Minn. and just a wee bit for ND. He mentions 4 Gophers who are now a year older so they should be that much better..........evidently the Sioux guys that are back, of which there are many, aren't expected to do that.

Who on the roster are we most likely to see the biggest step up in their game this year? Frattin? Marto? LaPointe? Trupp? or one of the older guys? Hopefully it happens for more than one.
