FSSN has, on occasion, done one Duluth game at Duluth by using the feed from the station refered to earlier. I can't remember if they go to Duluth this year or not, but if they do, that possibility would probably be gone if someone doesn't pick up the Bulldog games. Too bad.

I think that if next year's team plays anything like we all hope, predict, etc., the atmosphere will take care of itself.

I believe all the Marvins were cousins, not brothers? (Lee, David, Scott,...... more?)

Sounds to me like a rumor...........

My son and a friend traveled to Hutchinson, MN for a wedding last weekend. On Friday night in a town near the cities (I forget which) he ran into a gal that is a friend of his from Hoople, ND. Turns out she is Zach Parise's girlfriend. She invited them over to his house for breakfast that next morning. So, of coarse, they went. Zach wasn't home because he had some hockey camp or something at Shattuck that weekend. While at breakfast my son and his friend told her what a huge Sioux hockey fan I am, so she asked for our address and said she'd have Zach autograph a picture for me. A little while ago, while I was mowing my lawn, the UPS man stopped and handed me this big long box. My son had told me to expect my Father's Day present , but I was mystified because it said "Easton" on the box. Being he's a bowhunting nut, I thought maybe it was a new bow. Low and behold, when I opened it up, it was a game taped hockey stick autographed by Zach Parise! Only then did I check out the sender's address on the box. Sure enough. It turns out that a few days after the weekend, they called and asked if, instead of a picture, did he think I'd like an autographed stick instead. My son said, "Like it? He'll s***!" I think I did...........that was a wondrful thing for them to take time to do.

Anybody got any stats to view on this kid? I haven't kept up on him cause I figured he was out of the picture.

According to Brad's Blog, Trupp suffered a burst appendix? Wow. First I've heard on that.

I used to be Head Coach.....never lost a Frozen 4 game.
-
In a Herald article today they said something about Parise having a very unique goal celebration routine. Anybody know what they're talking about?

I agree with hrkac. This doesn't sound right without some of the days being suspended. Geez, do DUI's get that? Not in ND, I don't think.

I'm sure there's a bunch of fans of other teams out there who are hoping to hell at least ONE of them is lying!
-
Duncan will be back (barring something unforseen) and Oshie 50/50. Toews most likely gone. So, if Oshie and Duncan are still here next year, who to you plug in on that line? Or, do you split them apart? Opinions........

I know what you mean. -
Of all the teams I've watched in person for the Sioux, nobody did the things I saw the Hrkac line do together.

Visited Boston back about 15 years ago for a week for an education seminar (stayed at Pine Manor Collge in Chestnut Hills, MA). Loved the Boston area. So much history. If I remembered correctly, we drove by BC. Looked like a beautiful campus. GO SIOUX! -
In Mayville/Portland you can opt for either the MIDCO or Polar package. I've always had MIDCO cause up to this year Polar didn't have FSSN.

Stack, you said channel 33...............I hope you meant channel 23.

I don't think he sits out for a year, unless he goes to another school. Even then, he might not, if he plays juniors next year. In the case of Tony Hrkac,he played in 84-85, went to the Canadian developement team for a year, then came back for the 86-87 season. Maybe rules were different then, or maybe cause it was a developement team, he didn't have to be in school a year before he came back. There was another Sioux, too, who did some thing similar (Kevin McKinnon? Jeff McClean?)

I'm able to make 1-2 games in person a year,so I'm grateful for the games whether theyr'e home or not. I agree, though, that it sure would be nice for more away games to hit the tube. (pie in the sky?)
-
I will never critisize FSSN. Back in 87', when UND had arguabally the best college hockey team in history, I think we got to see maybe 7-9 games on TV, including the frozen 4. How many have we been able to see the past few years? My guess if over 20 each year!

yzerman19, it's like you read my mind!

Again.....WDAY? FSSN? (for Wed.)

Seems like we go through this same TV crap every year.
