So on Saturday, Nov. 3, we haveSioux football at 1:00 on FSSN, Bison football on KVLY at 4:00, Sioux hockey at 7:00 on FSSN. Wow!

The Gophers won't play UND in football because of the name thing and the way Brewster feels........the former being the more convenient exscuse.

Till the Bison start playing (and defeating) teams like Michigan, Boston College, Holy Cross (wink,wink) Sioux hockey will be number 1.

The real camera guys couldn't make it cause of the fog in Boston.

If the Gophers had had to play in that fog, and if they had lost, the Earth would shudder on its axis!

Called a friend of mine today about what's up with the BC rink debacle, and he said he hadn't the foggiest.

And while you're at it, might as well whine about your football team today, too.

I was at that U.S. International game in 86-87. They were indeed coached by Brad Buetow. I remember anticipating a big Sioux win with lots of highlight goals. In those days I was able to make about 2 games a year. So, of course, that had to be one of them. The Sioux were totally uninspired and acted like they'd rather be somewhere else. As I remember, at the time, it was a good lesson learned.

Any chance FSSN will (or can) pick up the CSTV feed for the BC game?

I would think that they'd be aphraid of phans pheeling that they philched the name they phinally chose.

The USHL team in Fargo will be called the Force. How does this affect UND's "Force of the North", if at all?

It was stated earlier on this board that Trupp looked extremely small in person. Anyone at the game agree with this? He didn't look that way on TV.

I hear them now, but they're gettin fainter.

Every time in the last few minutes that there was a big play (Chappel's TD, Manke's INT, and I forget the other) the radio would cut out!! Geez! It's like someone (or something) was doing it on purpose!

Any chance that FSSN will pick up the CSTV broadcast of the Sioux vs. BC game?

Yout advice about how to get around in Boston brings back memories. Spent a week there in 1990 for an educational seminar. It took place at a girls' college in Chestnut Hill (can't remember the name) and we spent lots of time riding the "T". Loved Boston. Lots of beer and lobster for 7 dyas. Went to a Red Sox game at Fenway vs. Twins. Twins won in 10 innings!

Has the game time and whether or not it's on TV in the GF area been decided yet? If the answer is no to both or either one, when will it be decided?

Marto 5th? If that's correct, considering some of the individuals he beat out, that has to say something positive about the young man......

Never seen him play.......how would he stack up against some of the other UND recruits? Opinions?

Sounds like the off season has been waaaaaaaay too long.........

Follow along the Goose River west from Hillsboro to around Northwood.....you'll see lots of hills, very pretty country, and thousands of deer, turkeys, etc. Sometimes you have to get off the beaten path.

My daughter is in a wedding that involves Tyler Lapic's (New Prague, MN) brother. His future sister-in-law said he's very interested in UND. There's probably info on him earlier in this topic. Anyone care to save me the trouble?
