When the Sioux played Minn. in Grand Forks, were they receiving balanced scoring at that time? I don't recall.

AM 790 out of Fargo has a very strong signal, so I would think that you would get that. I know that a few years ago during Z. Parise's second year we listened to a game from Fessenden to Mayville, but I don't recall what station we were tuned in to.

As you can see by my spelling of Baudette, keyboarding is not my strong suit.

Baudeyye, huh? When did you graduate from there? Did you have Burt Larson in elementary? I taught in Warroad from 75 through 81.

I dunno. I would think making trips to BC, BU, Michigan, etc. would be a good recruiting tool.

I realize this may now be old news, but P Sweeney just e-mailed me that they are still planning on televising the Duluth/UND hockey games.

E-mailed P. Sweeney about noon concerning the Duluth games, but so far no reply.

I remember him saying that, also. I also remember someone saying on this board that there was some sort of change in the local TV station that usually does Bulldog games that might affect the plans. I guess the easiest thing to do is e-mail Sweeney and find out. I'll do that and report back.

Better than that, I'm now sending them home!

Right now I'm sitting in a classroom with 17 demanding 5th graders, so I can't call them. I'm hoping my son did. If I find out for absolutely sure, I'll post it.

My son called from Fargo and said that Buffalo Wildwings has it on TV tonight, so we're going there to eat supper and watch the game. Sure hope he's not mistaken.

Don't know if this was already earlier in this thread, but there was a short article in SI about Kane and Toews, I believe the last issue. One of the things that was in the article, a quote by a rival GM, was that Kane will win you a scoring title, but Toews will win you a Stanley Cup.

I've been told more than once, if you can't say anything positive, don't say anything at all, so........I have nothing to say.

I think I've said this before, but.........I get the same feeling watching this team play (especially on a Saturday) that I do when I watch the Vikings. No....I guess that's a bit harsh.

I got a really cool Sioux rug......and I got really sick of no Sioux hockey for 3 weeks!

That is the mystery to me, too. I kept expecting the Sioux to be "balls to the walls" each game, and it never happened till the last half of each third period.

P.S. That WAS against the Gophers!
