Hopefully this kid is seriously interested in playing for UND. Don't need another kid saying he's gonna play college hockey just so he can have a little control over what CHL team he plays for. (Clarke, Matteau) However, not getting Clarke turned out to be a blessing.

Honestly, if Blood didn't take that boneheaded 5-minute major penalty I think we could've won this game. This series shows that UND can play with the top teams. Hell, we should've swept them. So I'm somewhat a little disappointed in the loss.

Kristo hit the kid in the back of the head and it was from behind which is why it was called CFB. Even if they aren't the same in your book, for what Rau did, Kristo deserved a suspension just as much then.

At least not all Gopher fans are wearing their shades and calling it like that. It was pretty freaking clear to me that Rau's arms went high when he hit Zucker. I gotta say I am surprised about the suspension. As Dagies said, Kristo should've served a suspension in that case.

Erm, I've been looking at the close-up footage of it on the Gopher Post-Game and Rau had his arms up high when landing the hit on Zucker. Hell, even Woog agreed that his arms were up high. You can see Zucker's head ricochet off the plexiglass.....

Despite that very bad hit on Blood by JT Brown, the kid can play hockey. And I agree with Burd. Sioux really dominated the play and effort.

Yeah, they do great hockey broadcasts. The announcers are also good.

They are a manufactured rival created by the WCHA since we needed to be paired with somebody. They are a just an opponent that UND needs to beat to win/earn points.

It's in the most recent issue. I tried viewing the magazine online, they offer a free preview of a couple pages of the issue but not the actual article. It's mentioned in the index page of it though. Gotta pay for ESPN Insider membership to be able to read the whole thing.
