@Siouxforeverbaby: 59 seconds into OT according to Hajdu. I was casually watching a TV while streaming the webcast on my laptop. Picked the right time to look back at what was going on in the game to catch the game tying goal and OT goal! While there is a lot of negativity about this teams play so far this year one positive it seems is that they seem to be really good in winning in overtime.

Is it sad that I regularly check this thread to see if MissSioux has posted anything in here since she always has something newsworthy?

Sucks that there will be a four year gap of not playing but there will be chances of meeting in the NCAA tournament. When the rivalry does resume though...that first and second meetings are gonna be big.

UMD deserved much better results than what they got this weekend. UND is very and I mean very lucky to get away with 3 points. With that said, hell of weekend for Kristo and MacMillan. I think Hakstol has possibly found the 3rd man to pair with Kristo and Knight.

I like the changes Hak made for tonight. Hopefully it's sparks things for the team. Also glad he finally swapped Panzarella in for Gleason. Gleason needs the time off. He's a great player but he's been playing downright awful for us since the start of this season. His attempt at trying to be the second coming of Chay Genoway has been an utter failure. Play defense Joe and chip in on offense when it is safe to do so instead of being the risk on the ice like you have been.

Hurley probably hasn't shown any interest in UND. He seems to be more interested in playing for a Big Ten or Hockey East school. Nothing new on Gersich, he's got rodent written all over him.

Sandbagging for the dogs already? I can't see UND pull off a sweep with how their Saturday night effort has been. Not only that but as others have said...just don't see UMD dropping 4 games in a row.

Not during the game since I don't think it was caught by the referee since he was skating away when Hak did it. Coincidentally, the referee that Hakstol flipped off was Don Adam I believe.

And the guy is going to be the head of the officials for the NCHC? Lolwat?

Pretty disappointing to lose out on him. Can't blame him though, BC is a hell of a program that has been enjoying continued success.

Finally had to put Hammer and Koberinski on mute. It's absolutely brutal listening to them. Only thing the midco crew has going for them is Katie Hale. Hammer doesn't know hockey. Let him do football and let's get someone who does know hockey. Sweeney, Hennessy(sp?) p Anyone with hockey knowledge would probably be better.

I think you understood what bcblues meant. I catch myself saying "we" as well when talking about the team. Hell, had to edit one of my recent posts cause I was saying "we" as well.

No doubt, BU is a very good team. No question about it. But losing the game the way they did is very disappointing especially since they were playing pretty well until the last bit of the 3rd. Frustrating. I am sure the team is feeling just the same.

Saturday woes continue. Don't care how early in this season is, it is very disappointing. UND turtled and BU made them pay for it.

Atrocious defensive play in our end in the 1st period. That needs to be corrected. Lucky we are only down by one.

Just take a look at GPL. When it was first assumed that UND/UMTC wouldn't be playing again for a while many fans acted like it was nothing. Saying "good riddance" and used the "we don't need them as much as they need us" line. With that said, GPLers are the more tolerable of the Gopher fan variety but comments posted over their can get to be just as asinine as ones made here.

Gotta love UND hockey. Lose second game into the season and it's like it is the end of the world. Who am I kidding? That is how many people act for any loss in general here. Always enjoy seeing the many different reactions to losing. Anyways, losing this game blows because of PWR implications later in the season. However, it ain't going to matter at all if the team can put together a good regular season the rest of the way like we all know they have the potential to do so.

Well when you start talking about their team and players, it's gonna attract them. Possibly might need to reconsider the topic title of this thread if it continues.

Lucky for us we don't face them until January. By then I'm guessing the team will be gelling by then(at least should be).

Indeed and they've made it 3-0 now. All I gotta say is if our defense plays like they've played in the exhibitions games...UND will get lit up just like Michigan State is. Another thing though is just how good of a team is Michigan State this year? Either way, Minnesota is just dominating them.

I thought the MidcoSN broadcast was a little better in quality than in years past. The picture wasn't as dark as it use to be. For all the complaining, people could help themselves out by tweaking the brightness/contrast settings on their TV. Hell, I'd recommend people getting their HDTV's calibrated if they want to get the best picture possible. For those with ole' CRT TV's...not much can be done on your end.
