So as an attempt to move on from the Frattin suspension and the Gopher series I'll post here saying... Let's beat some Bulldogs on Thursday!!

This didn't come as a surprise to me. It sucks since he has just been a huge contributor to this team. Ah well, Frattin just needs to serve the suspension and then get ready to get on the ice again.

I agree, I wouldn't mind getting some Hockey East or even ECAC refs. I remember when opposing fanbases would say the Sioux are going to be penalized like crazy cause of non-league refs in the NCAA Tournament. Yet it the Sioux played just fine with non-league refs.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm disappointed but it's better to happen now than in a single-elimination game.

I don't. I hope the Sioux shell the Gophers in retaliation for daring to even show emotion and interest in the game!! Anyways, the result of this game sucks. I think the Sioux played well but untimely penalties was their demise cause the Gophers capitalized on them. btw, still loving Eidsness' save on Cepis breakaway. Awesome!

Isn't there something if the series goes to three games a request can be made for a new officiating crew? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I remember something like that happening when the Sioux and Tech played in the first round playoffs.

Point exactly! Niagra or Alabama-Huntsville will take a spot. However, it would be kind of funny if Huntsville gets it and maybe wins a semifinal game in a regional, particularly against a CCHA team...

Wow, that is major bummer. A team that deserves to receive an at-large bid will be sitting at home cause of this. Bemidji is the only CHA team that should be in the Tournament(rest of the teams in CHA have below .500 records!!).

I was only referring to when he starts a game at home. I was at that game against Wisconsin and he definitely gave us a chance to win that night after Hakstol changed out Eidsness for Dell. But yeah, Eidsness probably the rest of the way unless we open the flood gates early and often against Tech in the Saturday game then maybe he'll see some playing time.
