I think the Sioux played well but untimely penalties was their demise cause the Gophers capitalized on them. btw, still loving Eidsness' save on Cepis breakaway. Awesome!

Isn't there something if the series goes to three games a request can be made for a new officiating crew? Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I remember something like that happening when the Sioux and Tech played in the first round playoffs.

I was only referring to when he starts a game at home. I was at that game against Wisconsin and he definitely gave us a chance to win that night after Hakstol changed out Eidsness for Dell. But yeah, Eidsness probably the rest of the way unless we open the flood gates early and often against Tech in the Saturday game then maybe he'll see some playing time.

Playing at home has not fared well for Dell. When he's played good they were away game starts.

Cichy was pretty highly touted yet hasn't been getting the playing time. Rather surprising to be honest.

Not much to say other than Denver is a way better team than us this year. And quite frankly, we're mediocre. So hopefully we can play moderately fine here on out.

That's exactly it. The Sioux are not playing with any heart or determination to win. They've been very hesitant with the Puck. And because of this the atmosphere inside the arena is like a morgue. Doesn't feel like a rivalry game.
