I will have up to 6 tickets available for the Friday night game between the Sioux & Quinnipiac. They are located in Suite 219 which is in the SW corner where the Sioux shoot twice.

Did you not get the memo on the simple facts of why UND didn't play NDSU. Yes the rivalry is a great thing, but Dale Lennon's main objective is a National Championship. The way the system is setup, it made no sense to play that game. I think NDSU found that out of few years back with their big win over Montana...I don't think they made the Division II playoffs that year.

Has much as I would have loved to watch the game on TV, Dan Hammer & Tony Stein did a great job of bringing the emotion of the game on the radio. Watched the highlights last night...the speed of this team is something...most of them are actually from North Dakota...very cool.

Does that include hockey?

I agree with you jk, though this is very encouraging, it still isn't for sure. I really have a lot of respect for Jonathan Toews, he sure knows how to handle himself both on & off the ice. If Jonathan does decide to play for the Fighting Sioux this season, it would certainly give this team a huge boost.

Don't forget the support the Sioux get here in Fargo. There are Sioux fans all over the Fargo-Moorhead area, I don't think there are too many Bison fans in the Grand Forks-East Grand Forks area.

Earlier today I posted on this thread, I probably went a little overboard & the administrator took the post off. Thank you 7NationalTitles for getting my message across. By the way, I don't agree with taking my post off, but I do understand your(administrator) position. It's too bad a dork like Nick Coleman has a forum like the Star Tribune to write his complete bias BS.

That's what I was thinking...hopefully it continues to get coverage throughout the US. It would be nice for someone like Scott Hennen to let Sean Hannity know what's going on and maybe he could do a piece on his show. Whether you believe in his politics or not, he has one of the largest audience's in the US.

I quess I looked at the point of view & the compliments towards Dr. Kupchella when saying very good article...but you're right, the accuracy is way off. I certainly respect your(PCM) knowledge of the situation...Huston knows little of what's going on up here.

Thanks for the help Earl Pomeroy...way to step up to the plate...writing a letter(ONE) to appease all of us Fighting Sioux fans for this ridiculous mess the NCCA has put us in. You have a platform that most of us don't have the privledge of having...we're just asking you to get on board with this issue & you can't even do that...pathetic.

With all the negativity with the early departures as of late, it's good to see a positive post on the Fighting Sioux Hockey Team for 2006-07. The simple fact is we are fortunate to have such a GREAT program to support & brag about...thanks Siouxnami for reminding us.

I was a Boston Bruins fan in the late 60's & 70's...Bobby Orr was my idol... he was the only one who could shut Don Cherry up. They have exact opposite personalities.. but for some reason Bobby could calm down Cherry.

I'm very disappointed as well that Travis won't be back, but I'm kind of becoming a Devils fan. You can't blame Travis for his decision to play professionally and for the Devils wanting him now. I'll be rooting for the Devils in the playoffs this spring.

My buddy & I won't have any luggage. Our wives have to take an earlier flight out of Fargo, so they get in to Milwaukee around 9:30 am. I would imagine we'll have a couple on the plane...we should get to the party about noon.

We fly in @ 11:37 am & are heading right to the party.

Just got the the call for our 4 tickets...we do have a suite, but I've still been concerned. I did call on Monday to the ticket office thankfully...one of the other guys in our suite got the other 2. They never asked me for names on the tickets.
