  1. I have the hottest coolest wife with 3 children that just got back from Florida a couple weeks ago, that's trying to figure a way to get there. We just talked to some friends that are there, we got to figure this deal out.

    Fabian!

For some of you Sioux fans that don't remember the last time we played the Gophers in a National Tourney we got beat by a Roseau dude(Neal Broten) in the 1979 National Championship. But tonight we had another ROSEAU DUDE lead us to the National Championship Game, thank you ERIC FABIAN.
  3. WOW-HOW COOL WAS THAT? Eddie might not be Doug Flutie, but how fired up did you get when Eddie Belfour is pumping his fist after a great save on Smaggard. Personal opinion but that save was the difference in the game.
  4. I think it was stated before on another post, Hirsch wasn't happy with the outcome of the Colorado College game at the WCHA Final Five. It was a bizzare display that was caught on tape and shown all over the internet, therefore it became an embarrassing situation for him and the gophers. Many players have gotten very upset after big sporting events, most show their outrage in the locker room or somewhere else where there are no cameras. I don't wish anything bad on Tyler Hirsch, but he is fair game now and I hope his team gets their ass kicked on Thursday night. GO SIOUX
  5. "What airport are you leaving out of FCM?" We're flying out of Fargo. Sorry Duey but no RODENTS allowed, nothin personal.
  6. It's not that we wouldn't like to be there next Thursday, but some of us have these phony baloney jobs. Anyway, after we defeat the Gophers on April 7th we plan on flying down Saturday morning. By we I mean 5 of us Sioux fans are planning on flying a private plane down Saturday morning and coming back Sunday. I just booked 2 rooms at the Hoiday Inn Columbus-Ohio State Univ Area for Saturday night. The gal at the desk told me it's within 5 minutes walking distance of the Schottenstein Center.
  7. Perfect way to end the Championship game April 9th, Sioux are playing Denver and leading 5-1 with 2 minutes left in the game. Would Paukovich step on the ice if he saw #2 for the Sioux out there? Not trying to stir the business too much but it just seems like a perfect ending for this team that has overcome so much this year, wouldn't be a bad sceniro for all us Sioux fans either. If he did step on the ice I hope Matt would take the high road and just enjoy the moment with Robbie and the rest of the team.
  8. Talked to the manager of Playmakers in person this morning, he said they'd have it all set up in the Skybox Lounge for the Sioux game at 7:00 pm. I'm going a little early to make sure, but he seemed to understand the importance since he's a Sioux fan.
  9. We have a group of guys going to Playmakers to watch the Sioux hockey game. They have a new setup called the Skybox Lounge with a huge screen on one wall and another big TV in the room. I watched the Moorhead State Championship game there a few weeks ago, it's a great place to watch a game. If your like me you'll want to listen to the game, they were very helpful in getting it all setup for the Moorhead game. With Gary Thorne & Bill Clement doing the game I'm sure most hockey fans will want to listen to the game.
  10. I agree that losing Brady makes it a tougher climb, but from what I saw last weekend this team can overcome quite a bit. I think our top 2 lines can play with anyone and our other 2 lines know exactly what their jobs are. Having some of the best defensemen in college hockey and 2 very good goaltenders going into the NCAA tournament leaves me with a very positive outlook. If we do get beat out before winning our 8th National Title this year, we still have reason for optimism for the future of Fighting Sioux Hockey. I think most people would agree that the Sioux have been one of the better teams since the 1st of the year, even though we lost some tough games to CC and Denver. The experience our young guys have got the last few months can only help their development and with our new guys coming in the next couple years our program should be in great shape. GO SIOUX
  11. It's great to see Brandon doing well in the AHL, but I'd sure like to see him putting those points up for the Sioux. I know it's the time of the season you got to go with what you've got, but man would it be nice to have Bo going into the Playoff season. That being said I better get back to reality & hope we get Brady & Colby back for the post season.
