I am a total Fighting Sioux guy, I would never give up my hockey tickets if the name is changed. I don't think there's much anyone can do about the PC some bitches...it sucks, but it is what it is. At least they can never take away the University of North Dakota name...at least for now, with this country losing their backbone lately you never know.

Seriously, I know I am a homer on this, but the Sioux logo is the best logo.

Agree...I live in Fargo and wish the best for NDSU. I am and always will be a Sioux fan. I think it's awesome that we have 2 great universities in our small state.

I preferred the Versus coverage much more. Obviously HD is great for hockey and next year we'll have HD for our locals, so NBC will be HD. The picture on my TV is very good, but the feed from NBC was so bad that I couldn't even make out the blue lines or red line, the puck was very hard to pick up. I watched the highlights on ESPNHD, what a difference.

Fantastic hockey game...little tired this morning, but well worth it.

I totally agree...I know my 6 year old boy is happy Ryan is coming back for his senior year...he can still keep his autographed Ryan Duncan poster on his bedroom door.

Especailly in the manner fourwindsboy wants to do it, by getting back at the white man. Sioux fans give the Sioux name the utmost respect...we all know that, it just has to be said every once in a while.

I think the Fargo police do a very good job. Sounds like the culprits left some evidence...I say let Blaiser have 15 minutes with them after there caught. We better be careful with accusing McFeely, heard he likes to frequent SiouxSports.com

I stand corrected, there's a report on KFGO that someone took a crane to the new hockey rink and did a lot of damage.

I also live in Fargo and love the city, as do thousands of us Sioux fans. Team Makers, football people & media(Mike McFeely) here have tried to keep hockey out of Fargo and really have done a very good job of it. NDSU has had numerous chances at hockey, but has turned down everything. IMHO it's because of the success of UND. The new Fargo Force team will be a big attraction here, led by Dean Blais, Chad Johnson & one more ex-Sioux guy. Not even McFeely can stop it now. I know football will always be the #1 sport in Fargo, but I think UND has already proven you can have both. My reason for saying that is UND beat NDSU in football the last 9 of 13 games they played against each other and still have claim to the Nickel Trophy. I have met Gene Taylor a couple times, he is a very good person. I just don't understand his thinking on saying that the interest isn't there for the UND-NDSU game.

After the NCAA takes our Sioux name away, they'll probably ban us from wearing our Sioux apparrel at the NCAA tourney. The way our country is tilting it wouldn't surprise me.

I think the team that drank the most was the 16th team. I'll bet the BC boys are still partying today. Not that it's right or wrong...it's our society today and has been for quite some time like it or not.

TJ Oshie just purchased a beautiful new condo in St. Louis directly across from Anheiser-Busch. I'm obviously kidding...TJ has been one of my all time favorite Sioux players to watch and I wish him the best of luck with the Blues. Unless there's that one in a million thing of coming back next year.

AZ...I was flipping through some pictures on USCHO yesterday. I've seen some pictures of you on your site... it looked like you and some other Sioux fans on the glass. You'll have to check the pictures out under the Sioux-BC game pics. There's obviously been a lot of negative stuff around here since last Thursday...it's always great reading your postive Sioux outlook. I've been down for a few days myself since last Thursday, but Sioux hockey has been my passion since 1975 and always will be.

Zach played pretty well last night, he scored a goal. Good to see the Devils back in the series.

The Fighting Sioux should be the home team since we are a higher seed than BC.

The Fargo Force picked up another ex-Sioux to join Dean Blais for their USHL's team debut this fall. Chad Johnson will be Blaiser's assistant and will serve multiple duties from what Blaiser said last night. I know Chad wanted to stay in Fargo and is very happy with everything. There should be an announcement soon with another former Sioux player joining the Fargo Force.

We were at Tailgaters in Fargo last night...the place was full of Sioux fans...great reaction after Kozek's game winner.

The PC crowd is a crowd that controls the rest of us. It consists of probably 10 to 15% of the peoople, it has power through pity. To say that the Sioux name hasn't been respected is so far from the truth. I have been around the Sioux name since around 1968, as a kid the Fighting Sioux was my team and still is to this day. The logo is important to me today because it's important to my 6 year old son. He can't figure out why people want to get rid of the name...I just told him "don't feel like the lone ranger, the world you're coming into is a lot different than I was fortunate enough to grow up in(1960's)".

I sure hope the Sioux get there this weekend.

Jayden...I don't think you're a FIGHTING SIOUX FAN. If you are, you may want to tell your concerns directly to Joe Finley, but first get some facts straight. I think you should concern yourself with Boston College right now.
