  1. Thanks. I'm just cranky and have a headache that won't quit but ok. The car's not bad. I think the only things that need replacing are the back bumper and maybe the lights. Once the bumper is replaced maybe the lights will be ok.
  2. I'm ok except for the HA and you know what? The guy could have been Marvin!
  3. Yes, me in years past. This is the first year we got them. Someone else posted that he didn't get picked this year. Next question.....
  4. You're absolutely correct but I am in a foul mood!! Driving through St. Cloud to a week-end assignment this morning, I was at a full stop for a red light and a stupid FOOL plowed into the back of my car! I have a headache which 800 mg of ibuprofen has not relieved, a broken car, was two hours late to work and I have to work. The only good thing is the flow is slow!!! I'm in a foul mood and have zero patience for fools!!!
  5. Sounds right. And the most likely response was "Stop the resurge at every step."
  6. People get more upset at big fat liars than anything else. http://www.wdaz.com/event/article/id/2359/ Fighting Sioux Logo Designer Sad To See It Retired
  7. I realize you're 'joking' but given the fact that he has made the statement that this is a 'one and done' chance to save the name and that he is excluding major stakeholders (SL and SR supporters) from the meeting with the NC$$, I don't believe he wants to save the name. To me, it's looks like he's going through the motions, to 'appease the masses'. In addition, again MY opinion, he is somebody's puppet and his dance is being choreographed for him. Hey, that's just my opinion based on his words and actions.
  8. Being a horse's ass the gelding's missing part must come easy to bison fans, they prove it over and over and over again. Geeze! Don't you have something to do over in Cow Pasteur land,? Shoveling comes to mind....
  9. Why do you even come here? You're so full of hate and anger, it can't be good for your health.
  10. I know I'm reaching but I'm not discounting that Shaft wants the nickname gone. Out of the mouths of babes, etc. The Big Ten invite was likely and as previously stated more an assumption we could then play teams in the BT.
  11. WTF!?!? Is Shaft serious? The whole name and logo issue is based on permission from a (two for ND) tribe to sanction it's use. And Shaft says, 'Not now?' What the he ll is wrong with this guy? Whose pocket is he in and how deep is that pocket? Unless pressure can be put on the ass Shaft to include representatives fromSpirit Lake and Standing Rock, in my opinion.....we're screwed.
  12. When a lady in a wheel-chair couldn't get the handicap door to open because the button wouldnt work, I think she was more hot under the collar than cool. (Yes, I opened it for her!) When the glass exploded all over the folks in the front row, I think they felt more alarmed than cool. But, when water from the ceiling started dripping on me from the ceiling during the third period, I did feel a bit cool......
  13. I just picked up the posters and they look awesome!!! I had the ESPN pic copied onto the transfer sheets and all I have to do now is iron them on! I'll post pictures in the next day or so!
  14. Over the years, drunkenhockeyfool has made many rude comments about the Sioux fan-base, the team, individuals on the team and the coaching staff, MANY. And, when people talk about what a d-bag he is for saying what he says, there is always someone who comes on to say he's really a nice guy. Yeah, right...... GO IRISH!!!
  15. Well said, nodak. Without rivalry between teams, we may as well stay home and play solitaire. My best-friend's husband is a die hard Packers (excuse me, I just spit-up) fan and I'm a born and bred Bears fan. We have had the best fun playing jokes on one another, trash-talking, etc. but we still love and respect each other. There are teams *cough, Goofers, cough* that I don't like and will NEVER cheer for but I don't 'hate' other fans just because of who they cheer for but I have certainly felt hatred directed at me by many from a different fan base. Geeze, why does it have to be like that?? At the regionals in 2009, I had a blast with the 'Dawg fans. What happened?
  16. Yes! I and a few thousand females (and males) will be wearing green wigs!
  17. I'll be the one wearing a green wig! Yeah Sioux Sioux!
  18. I feel the same way. UMD had always been my second favorite team. I always cheered for them when they weren't playing us. I even have a sweatshirt specially made by a good friend (her daughter is a UMD grad and a current UND 2nd yr med student) that says 'This Sioux's for you' with the Bulldog crest below the lettering. Seeing the UMD fans join UM fans cheer against us has been surprising. I've retired my sweatshirt.
  19. Do you have a link? I don't get the paper.
  20. The lady that has a contract to use the Sioux logo won't make the t-shirts. Her company is forbidden by the University to use the logo on anything to do with the name and logo issue. SOOooo, I bought a dozen short-sleeved white tee shirts (on sale at Target for $7 and all they had in white!!!) andam going to print the ESPN/logo sign onto transferrable paper and iron it on the tee's. I've also had one made into a poster by a copying company. Oh, and I had the Michigan goalie/North Dakota pic made into a poster. I'm not selling anything I am making. The tee's are for 'non-commercial use' and I'm giving them to my family and friends to wear. I'm not getting my foyer painted and new floor and baseboards put down in there!! Oh well, PRIOITIES!!! GO SIOUX!!!
  21. WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Based on the majority of your posts on this forum, I have to wonder if it's just you he didn't like. I know a lot of people and there are many that I will look straight through and not acknowledge because I don't like them for whatever reason. AND, even though I consider myself a friendly, likeable person, there are more than a few that would sooner run me down than go around me. That's life.
  23. As a fan, I've had the opportunity to talk with Hak a few times. We also shared a shot of tequila after an important win. That doesn't make him a great guy but taking the time to talk hockey with a fan who is not a Diamond contributor makes him ok in my book; aside from all he's done for the program. "Gino's sucess was more of having great assistants than his own ability." How many successful persons do you know that don't surround themselves with great assistants? Geeze.....
