  1. Please, share the source of your information. No one here, to date. knows the facts of this situation but you and others post as if your info is a well known fact. Where are you getting this information?
  2. I have never worked in the Twin Cities so am not familiar with the hospitals in the area. When I've shipped people out to a hospital in the area, I transferred to *hospital* not to *hospital* in St Paul or Mpls.
  3. Holy crap, Goon. I didn't know you were into.....well, you know....five people in a bed!!!
  4. I really and truly wish that all the bullshat speculation that is being posted as fact would end. We can guess what lead up to his injury but unless you were there or are privy to confidential medical information you don't know squat!! Isn't it bad enough that the kid has a case of frostbite that is serious enough to land him in a hospital in Mpls? Is it really necessary to post crap that you don't know is true!! GAWD!!!!! Posts such as these just make me want to reach out and smack those grand-mas that have nothing better to do than gossip about things they know nothing about upside the head!!!!
  5. We've stayed at the Hilton Garden more often than not (only stayed elsewhere three different years) and I think it's the best. You can walk via the skywalk to the X, it's close to everything game/party related, the rooms are fine-fridge and microwave, and they have ample parking. The one time we stayed at the Holiday Inn, they ran out of hot water, parking is not sufficient for the number of rooms, no fridge or microwave and a drunk fan from a rival team tried to start a fight with my kid. We stayed at the Crown Plaza, too expensive for me but everything else close to the X was booked that year. Holiday Inn at Bandanna (?) was a short drive away but the traffic was a beast before and after the games. There are lots of hotels near MOA but I'm not into shopping during the F5 and, again, would have to drive to the games.
  6. If they hang on to those jerseys for a few years, they'll be worth a heck of a lot more than $60. AND, by then, who'll remember the theft? Ever wonder how much of the stuff for sale on eBay is 'legit'?
  7. Is there another article that people read that has the information people are citing? "Found walking" is not in the article I read. I don't see any mention of any other part of his body being frostbitten. No mention of being found in the snow. Am I missing something here?
  8. Ditto! And don't let your friends walk anywhere except across the hall when they have been drinking. You lose body heat very quickly when you've been drinking. Several years ago a young man left a party in GF, drunk, to walk home during a blizzard/bad storm. He was lost in a snow bank for quite a while (weeks) before his body was finally found.
  9. When I read the article my first thought was "Was he wearing flip flops?!?" I hope the hospitalization is not as serious as it sounds! Good luck and lots of prayers are needed here if it is!
  10. One of the receptionists here lives in a sparsely populated part of the county and said there are some cougars in her neighborhood that are killing livestock. Scary.
  11. I remember that picture from a while ago! Was that your place in Wi? No cougar sightings, just me.
  12. I'm running all over the World Wide Web looking for you and here you are......with the numbers! Shudda known.....
  13. Cepis? Oops, you were referring to Brown, weren't ya!?!
  14. I think it was a friend of a SS.com member who is/was from Fargo.
  15. I'm working in Tomah until the end of February.
  16. I'm in WI until the end of February. I can get your gear before I leave and leave it in MN with a friend or relative if you'd like. Getting back to WI will be up to you though.
  17. Phats' older brother will love that as he enjoys tormenting Phats!
