  1. Here's a video of the hit: http://youtu.be/twNOv5pbSnc
  2. How much money do you think Ground Round, Dickies, and Deeks are paying to be the food sponsors for the home opener? Sure as heck aint free to them. If they want to try to recoup some of their investment by selling food, why are you mad at them? Who knows, maybe if you supported the businesses and purchased a meal tailgating, they would decide to do it a 2nd or 3rd time sponsoring the food at tailgating in the future. Think about it. Anyways, hop on the UND bus and bring your Toy Story lunch box with your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in it then. Free tailgating. Problem solved.
  3. Correction. Duluth has zero Wal-Marts. One supercenter is in Hermantown and the other in Superior, WI.
  4. Wrong again. The ND AG as well as the SBOHE agreed to the terms of the settlement with the NCAA. We agreed to put ourselves into this position, obviously assuming we could get the 2 tribes to sign off to the agreement. And like many people have stated Dave, the NCAA is a voluntary organization. We can walk away if we want to at any time. There's a reason why we haven't.
  5. I know we try to keep politics off this forum, but get your facts straight. As someone pointed out, Warren Buffet already pays a ton in taxes every year and if he wants to pay more, he's more than welcome to. An article from the Congress' Joint Committee on Taxation says that the "Buffet Rule" would bring in $47 Billion over 10 years. That's $5 billion a year rounding up to be nice. A drop in the bucket to our yearly budget deficits of $1+ trillion under both Bush and Obama. They both spent way too much money every year of their presidency and now our future is going to pay the heavy price of it all. I wish people on both sides of the aisle wouldn't paint their counterparts with such a broad brush.
  6. What about Corban Knight? How does everyone forget about this guy? Most underrated, under-the-radar guy I have seen at UND in a long, long time.
  7. Anyone heard if/where UND is having a pre-game party on Saturday AM?
  8. Anyone else find it odd during the pre-game that Patterson from Minnesota didn't show up to accept his league goaltending award? It's not like he had far to travel. All the award winners seemed to get a nice applause from the mostly-Sioux crowd.
  9. Obviously, a lot can happen tomorrow. But if the Sioux win, it looks like they are a 1 seed and stay close to home. If they lose, I would bet that they get shipped out east depending how the other games pan out.
  10. The Gophers were that good and the Sioux were equally that bad in the first 35 minutes of the game. In the 3rd period, the Gophers quit skating, started standing/watching in disbelief it seemed like as each goal went in.
  11. I agree with you, but Hak didn't get the memo from you apparently. Green jersey's tonight.
  12. Since the WCHA went to the new Broadmoor Trophy, it's only got one team's name on there: Ours. Let's keep it that way.
  13. Zero. They are a host school.
  14. http://www.collegeho...atings/yatc.php I used this link to do some probabilities, and as of right now, I can't get the Sioux to drop below 12th. I'm sure there's a scenario out there that could. So, as long as SCSU(WCHA), Bowling Green(CCHA), Colgate(ECAC), Providence(HE), and the AHA winner don't all win their respective conference tournaments, we should be in. All other teams in the conference tourneys should be locks to get to the NCAA Tourney right now.
  15. IMO, Best case scenario for the Sioux tonight. I'd rather play SCSU than Wisconsin in a heartbeat right now. Plus they get the night game and stay on their normal routines.
  16. Not that it matters, but you would think it would be a bigger advantage for the #1 seed to play the early game on Friday. Assuming they win, they would have a longer recovery time then playing the night game.
  17. If Denver wins, we are on MN's side of the bracket. If Wisconsin wins, we are on Duluth's side of the bracket. I believe so, anyways.
  18. Tech wins 4-3 in OT I believe we will get to play SCSU if Denver wins tomorrow or Wisconsin if it wins tomorrow
  19. Vermont this year, Robert Morris, some other AHA teams. Not world-beater teams, but they could hang with some college teams.
  20. Did you see the game? Those teams could hang with some college teams if need be.
